I'm glad that a few old rivalries from the comic books got covered in X-Men: CotA. Wolverine versus Silver Samurai, Psylocke versus Spiral, the Sentinels versus pretty much everyone, Magneto versus pretty much everyone, and of course, Colossus versus Juggernaut. (We didn't get Cyclops versus Mister Sinister, Wolverine versus Sabretooth or Longshot versus Spiral, alas, but we can't have everything!) I think the only time Juggernaut flat-out stomped Colossus was that one issue where Juggie showed up at a bar wearing street clothes, and Colossus didn't realize that the "construction worker" who was picking a fight with him was actually Juggernaut, so he held back...it got ugly. Juggernaut later beat the Hulk using the same trick, of course...and this was the Hulk during his smart "Professor Hulk" years. Juggie can be pretty clever for a walking brick! >:)
All they fucking do is block in this game. I set it to easy too and it's just relentless. I fucking hate/love this game so fucking much. UGHHH I don't understand. ALL THEY FUCKING DO .. IS BLOCK. this game was just men't to steal your quarters im convinced man.
it's probably because this was a brand new IP for capcom at the time and they didn't really have the best idea how to fine tune the character balancing and AI

the way colossus crushes Juggernaut at @13:36 onwards before booting him off the stage is just glorious
for some reason i laughed my ass off when i saw that. lol too perfect.
Truly, Colossus was the strongest fighter in this game. But that is what makes him a loyal member to the X-Men (his new family).
Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would ever see Colossus perform a piledriver.
