  • Learn to Setup Network Cabinet - Complete Details of My Wireless Project with Ubiquiti Devices Welcome to BroExperts, In this video, I am going to share my new wireless networking project details. I will walk you through the complete step-by-step process like what kind of devices I am going to use and how I cover wireless connectivity. For this project I used Ubiquiti access points so if you are also working on a similar project or if you are interested in using Ubiquiti devices but not sure which device is suitable for your project, this video is for you. This was actually a hookah cafe where they have around 3 smart TVs placed in different areas for live streaming and around 200 active wireless internet users during their peak time. In the video, I will share a complete map with you so you guys have a bird-eye view of this whole project.
    Thanks for watching the video :

    This is a much better video. I understand how he did it this time. Since I'm new to this, I was curious about extra cable lengths and how the cables were bound. But, this answers it.

    Can you show us, How you did routing protocols, and how you setup AP SSID (What Channel you used to not get interference with other AP), camera, what subnet you used since you have mentioned about there will be 200 guest on busy business hour. What class of IPv4 you have used.
    Thank you

    Sometimes 1 meter cables aren’t the best choice, especially since you know in advance the distance between your patch panel and equipment.

    Thank you so much for the video; it is very informative.
    Are you using any PDU, or are you connecting your devices directly to wall outlets? Also, if I may ask, is there a reason you chose the 'TP-Link JetStream 24-Pors Gigabit Smart PoE Switch" over the " Unifi PoE switch with (24) GbE RJ45 ports, including (16) 802.3at PoE+ ports, and (2) 1G SFP ports (SKU: USW-24-PoE)"?

      Thanks for your comment.. yes there was PDU behind it was rack mountable PDU..
      Client had limited budget so I chosed TP-Link as it was economical compared to Unifi Switch ..

    Hello…. I have cat 6 cables running in my walls going to different rooms. I am thinking about installing NVR security cameras via POE…. My question is can POE cat 6 cables and regular cat 6 run together? Will there be interference or heating from the POE cables?

    • @BroExperts-Tutorials
      @BroExperts-Tutorials  Год назад +1

      You can run poe devices over normal ethernet cables too.. but if you use cat 6 so it will be a better choice as the thicker copper conductors allow for better heat dissipation..

    the unfi access point do really need the router or controller to program them, Or can they be programed without it?

    • @BroExperts-Tutorials
      @BroExperts-Tutorials  Год назад +1

      Thanks for your comment.. it can be programmed without controller as well.. but individually. If you use controller so you can do configurations once and push settings on all devices with 1 click..!
