I love this damn song so much. These guys were solid. And I genuinely love Tom DeLonge’s vocals, always. He’s definitely different, but he feels real. More polished on the record obviously, but he sounds so raw live and it’s just so nice to listen to. He said somewhere that he doesn’t aim to master anything, he just wants to be kind of good at a variety of things. And he is. But I also think he’s a shitton better at the things he does musically than he gets credit for...
His singing isn't even that bad in this performance! And also, you realise he's the reason this band exists right? He comes up with all the idea, writes the songs, the music etc. Take him out and AvA would never have happened!
I always hoped this band would end up being like the Harlem Globetrotters of music. Like when Tom or any of the band members gets old or tired of being in the band they can bring in a replacement with the same type of musical intentions and stay under the same name so that the band can live on

I personally think Atom left because of Tom's live performances mixed with the fact that he wanted to take a long break from touring. He even looks agitated when Tom speaks in the beginning.

No they didn't let him go.he did letgo himself if that makes sense... due to the lack of ava tours back when it was 2013 or 2014 something atom Willard left because ava didn't tour or make live shows that's why he left maybe he just bored not playing drums or recording something.so that's the reason why.. I guess.. I see that comment in one of ava videos why he left. Edit: I wish he didn't left he is really perfect for ava his drum tracks really fit in all of their songs to be honest.

Tom IS the band you idiot! This started as a project for Tom so he could learn how to use different sounds with computers and stuff and he pretty much turned this band or "art project" into his religion... not really religion but this is how Tom brings out his other more serious side than what you see in Blink's punk and comedy
I love Tom Delonge, I think he's kind of got a genius mind, but a lot of his live performances are just terrible. I get the sense that he's not invested in the performance, and something is making him feel awkward. It could be alcohol, drugs, or maybe just insecurity. I don't know. I wish he would just close him eyes and sink into the music. He's got it in him.
I think it was those times where he was at his worst live but recently from 2018 on, his performances have been some of the best of his career. Def check them out !

Tom sounds drunk... I absolutely love him and his work but wow, live he can sound so bad. I got to see the band in 2012 and was so anxious about the singing... It went fine but this is really too bad that Tom can't be as amazing as a singer as he is as a songwriter. Love him though!

Virtually all AVA songs fall apart live. AVA is unfortunately just a studio band and can't really recreate their songs live.
