I’m glad this was uploaded. As much as I like the lyric videos for helping tell me who is saying what during when, I sometimes don’t trust them… I do like how Kanade was the only one saying “I love you” in the first chorus.. Truly beautiful
Ngl wish they did more with the choreography other than making them walk in conflicting format and waving their arms not so accordingly. Idk I just feel like they weirdly choreographed this, it only gets good around the 2D background part though
@@syl695 we all know Kanade can give power to her dancing, we have seen it in Composing the Future plus last time they did a group cover together was Bitter Choco Decoration which had way more creative and clever choreography than this Kanade went along with what she did as the others did still. I know that they could have done better than this though it just had weak direction and was executed weirdly. From what I see they could have made it something similar to Nomad as the song itself reminds me of Nomad’s rhythm somewhat, of course both songs are different in pace but it seems like they also set up the choreography that way kind of too. I feel like Nightcord’s choreography is at it’s best though when it comes to like medium paced songs or sometimes energetic songs(Villain being a good example as you said). This song itself is in between there so I could see valid points in their limitations but even outside of dancing in the choreography they do not really use the staging here very well, in fact it makes them almost look cartoonish. I honestly think they had potential in creating tension by at least having them dance separated from each other but only in some parts dancing would intersect them which I interpret as a uncomfortable and confusing feeling. Well the choreography at least is not awful for sure it just could have been better, I guess what redeems it for me is when they do poses for the spotlights for one which gives us character as always, them not looking at each other until the end of the MV which I think portrays the songs loneliness in a beautiful way, and yeah the ending around the 2D background part as the choreography their was spot on. Again I know they could have done more for this and compared to their past choreographed works they have more potential than making it feel almost filterless like this

its a reference to the original MV, where a bouquet appears to the line "is it wrong to boast of my happiness" and then it pans down to show a nearby character standing tip-toe on a chair to the line "is it wrong to grieve over my unhappiness" unfortunately, the chair alone in this MV doesnt quite convey the same image
The fact that they included some snapshots of the original MV Edit: Unless the full version has dropped, 15 shoujo (15 Voices/ that one version from OSU!) still ranks 1st

honestly I think it’s fitting especially since their sekai is so plain. I like that the word bubbles pop up frantically. i feel like it rlly emphasizes feeling overwhelmed and not being able to breath.
To me, the speech bubbles appearing with the zoom ins on each character is the most visually appealing part of the video. Yes this is a 3D game but with anime style character models, so it doesn't look out of place one bit. Reminds me of some games like DBZ Budokai or that Cardcaptor Sakura game on PS2
