    Cornflake crackles is what we called them when my Nanna made them through the 80s and 90s. Truly an Australian kids party food and not to forget the rice bubble cakes

    As a kid we called these honey joys. Chocolate Crackles, Honey Joys, toffee in patty cases and Lamingtons that all takes me back to the days of school fetes. Also on election days when I tagged along with my parents when they went to vote at the local church hall, the ladies from the church always had a stand where they sold those types of snacks along with crocheted coat-hangars and those bloody ugly dolls that people used to stick on their toilet rolls.

    Omg this is actually really funny to me because my mum made these earlier today because tomorrow is the first day back to school, also I get my glasses tomorrow and I'm scared I'll get teased at school for it.

    • @aussiegirlcancook
      @aussiegirlcancook  3 года назад +3

      snap lol. Indie if anyone teases you at school for wearing glasses. they are not the sort of awesome people you need in your life. lucky for us we all get to choose our friends. people who tease you are just showing you they are no good as a friend. and they are the ones that loose having awesome Indie as a mate xoxo
