I no longer feel safe in a country I grew up in. I no longer feel my rights are upheld in my home country. I think if anyone, for any reason, can be labeled a homeland terrorist and be ripped away from family friends and home without charges or any presumed innocence. Because of an act of peaceful Freedom of Speech, or asking a question of my Government why they believe they have the right to break the law themselves, and not be held accountable to the laws they suggest they enforce. This isn't the United States of America, I lived in, but is increasingly sounds like the news stories I heard from China, Russia, and North Korea from the 1970's to 1980's.😢

Mr Magaziner neglects to recognize that Sec Mayorkas has repeatedly insisted that the border is fine. In fact, Sec Mayorkas has persisted in this kind of statement when questioned at the hearings. He has said he believes the DHS is doing a wonderful job. 🤠

I can't believe Thompson is saying Republicans would not allow resources to Mayorkas to protect the border. Mayorkas had everything he needed yet he continued to break the law. What is amazing also is that he was given so many chances to get it right and still he continud to break the law. This went on for far too long. How does Thompson manage to ignore these facts?
