If the work your creative team is producing misses the mark, don’t jump to conclusions. Here are five key things to keep in mind to help you offer constructive criticism:
    1. If the project misses the mark, don’t jump to conclusions. Sit down and talk. Be conversational, not confrontational.
    2. If it misses the mark, were the instructions clear? Did you convey your vision well?
    3. Don’t let criticism of the work be mistaken as criticism of them. Focus on the work they do and don’t let your criticism become personal.
    4. If it’s good, give them the credit. Take the time to value your creative team.
    5. Be specific. The more specific you can be in the changes you’d like to see, the better.
