I would like to apologize! So I'm not a veteran SG mobile player but I have learned that you don't really need to spend money to get to higher ranks. You just need dedication and luck. So don't worry about the money just keep playing! (But I mean buying stuff does increase the chances of more potential content tho 👀)
Yet most people will spend money on this game.
That's why the mobile version is far more financially successful than the actual fighting game. Which you'll often find on sale as low as 2 USD.

Android 24 well, I downloaded the game again few days ago and today I played my first 3 matches at rifts which were low level players but then after it refreshed I got matched against diamond players and I’m only a rookie...
I git matched against “you can’t beat the D”.

Cat it’s a very easy way to win fights both online and against ai. On top of that it’s extremely easy to do and has no real downside at all, meaning that that strategy only gets better with the better valentine variants

Glad to see more love for this game. It's practically unheard of for a mobile game to have:
- ZERO ads outside the optional viewing parlor
- F2P players in the top ranks
- Good energy system with free refills so you can play as long as you want
- Bad luck protection (pulling enough golds guarantees a diamond)
A lot of games have a form of bad luck protection. The time it takes to kick in is usually too high for it to be noticeable.

3:09 ah yes, I remember that debuff. First time I encountered that debuff I was so confused as to why my fighters are dying. Took me 2 deaths to realise its probably the debuff
tagging other characters will halt the countdown but be careful that character can get the same debuff. a little something I like to do is switch between each character as much as possible ussually that goes well for me hopefully it will for you

This Is probably the most accurate video about the Mobile version, finally a BIG BOY of RUclipsr give the right appreciation to this version, You skipped nothing on your explanation, very very accurate (especially the fact that Peacock That's All Folks is a bitch, I hate it too, stupid Evasion buff that ruin my combos 😡)

This is one of my top mobile games because of how free to play friendly it is (mostly). Spent about $5 on it in all my years playing, and I've managed to pull or evolve roughly 18 diamonds, along with pulling about 2/3rds of the entire catalogue.
For me, one of the big reasons it's stayed among my top mobile games is because of how fun the core gameplay is, and how much it rewards time put in the lab. Even in getting my ass beat by far higher level players in PvP (and how unrepentantly laggy it can get), I still manage to learn from my losses, and learn how to make their combos my own
I downloaded Skullgirls mobile around 3 or 4 years ago and didn't think too highly of it. Then after a year, I decided to give it another chance and MAN. I enjoyed the hell out of it. I was such a fan, I got 2nd Encore for PS4 and Switch and I've been a Skullgirls fan ever since.
I'd like to mention a few things, since this guide has gotten a little outdated in recent time.
First, they not only added Annie of the stars but they also threw in Parasoul's little sis: 'umbrella'. The former has her daily event on sundays and the latter on saturdays
Second, the daily events have changed from specific missions like 'fight with this team comp' or 'win X fights with this character' to a meter you fill up with points you earn from doing literally ANYTHING in the game (seriously, they give you points just for logging in and playing any available game mode) which is far easier than before.
Ugh low-key jealous that you got a 10 pack congrats 😌💖
This is why I love this game and it's community.
I really like this game (my first SG even if i always were part of the community) and i think i will just enjoy casual story mode free-to-play
This certainly is a unique mobile game. Though I feel if we were getting more fighters after Annie a new game would be more likely.

Eyyy Saltyy, nice to hear you made to to mobile finally. But with the charter rank numbers/difficulty bar, the best way to earn xp is to play while its almost all the way to the right, if not completely. Its the best way I've found to grind, and I don't want to say you have to "git gud" but ye, you just gotta find your fight style... again.... and then you'll ranking on them plebs in no time. Can't wait for the next video,

They love supporting the underdogs of the match (if your team has lower points) and they'll reward you with extra exp multiplier, depends on how much your team is lower then your opponent (if your team's total power rating is 1000 and your opponent is 1500, you'll get 1.5 multiplier to your exp of you win) if you manage to win that battle. Also exp are divided equally toward your team's members from your opponent team's total power rating, so you can essentially using a gold to carry small bronzes or silvers when attacking and get that bonus.

I loved playing Skullgirls mobile back then! Would play it a lot during class and in lunch when I was in highschool. Good times. Made it to Max level as well and yeah it was a fun time. I moved away from it though because it's a lot grinding so yeah. Then I got into 2nd Encore and tbh I enjoy way more than mobile. But who knows, maybe someday I'll come back to Skullgirls mobile, but for rn, I'm basically done with it. Great video!

Nice video man, you really captured the game's spirit in a few minutes. Grind up and you'll get those golds in no time and no money. I recommend those 50k coin relics, they have given me like 4 golds in the three months I have been playing, also the 10+1 relic packs are nice.

Dang! Some of the new features like Rift Battles and the PvP mode sound awesome! (Especially the latter personally) I played the mobile back before those features were added, but moved on to other things let's just say. I might consider redownloading it, or just play the OG Skullgirls again! ^^

Well, for me it took about 6 months after downloading the game. Nowadays it takes about 10 minutes to finish them.

The only money I ever put into Mobile Games EVER was in this game to get Double before she was gone at her release. Had to get my mom to pay for and didn’t care which I got but low and behold it was a “Xenomorph” Double. Also felt your pain with “That’s All Folks!” Peacock but also have yet to beat “Raw NERV” Painwheel because I did it after I evolved my Painwheel from bronze.

Accursed Experiments in last part (3 Big bands) is quiet easy, all you need is a Killjoy Valentine. She'll cheat death for your 2 left fighters.
I've been playing it for at least 2 years now, the best game for mobile yet, at least for me, polished, and entertaining. And the best thing, it's not necesary to spend a single cent to enjoy it.........(you should, it helps the developers a lot)

I been playing sgm for years bro, lv 70, working on my diamonds, it's still fun
Imo, it was fun for about a month, but then everything just started to feel repetitive, like, there arent any new maps or events, just harder versions of the same ones amd the rewards for beating them doesnt even feel worth it.
The weekly character events are cool and all, but after doing them 3-5 times i got super bored and started not even going into them, specially after getting most if not all gold moves for everyone.
Those special events where you make your defending team then fight other peoples teams is a Nice mode, but the threshold are really high for some of them.
The rift mode had the best concept in my opinion, make your own maps abd fight other peoples maps, but the execution was unbalanced as hell, i kept getting paired up with people that had 7-10k+ diamonds, so, with my teams of 2k~ gold and silvers, i could beat some nodes that had 1 7-9k diamond, but some of them just felt impossible.
The gacha element feels really unfair with those 0.5, 3.0 drop rates, but you can get diamonds and golds without wasting your money... With A LOT of work but you can.
