    ⭐ INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS ⭐
To press or not to press:
    - When using a type of tofu from the no-pressing group (like a super firm or extra firm), no pressing is required.
    - When using a tofu from the pressing group (a spongier kind of tofu like firm tofu), pressing beforehand can give you a better texture.
    Yield: 2-3 servings
Gluten Free (if using tamari soy sauce)
    Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 35-40 minutes (mostly unattended)
    Quick Glance List of Ingredients:
1 package extra firm or super firm tofu (if using a tofu from the pressing group like a firm tofu, pressing beforehand is recommended)
A few dashes of soy sauce (tamari for GF option)
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional but recommended)
A few dashes of dried or fresh thyme
    Directions:
    1. Pre-heat the oven by turning on your broiler (top of the oven) to 410ºF (210ºC), and move the oven rack higher to the top of the oven (one notch higher than the middle).
    2. Cut the tofu into cubes and place them in a bowl.
    3. Add the remaining ingredients and toss.
    4. Spread the pieces out in a shallow, parchment lined baking sheet making sure that there is space between them. If doubling or tripling this recipe, you may have to bake it in batches.
    5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until crispy and slightly puffed. Use as a topping for your favorite salads, soups, over noodles or rice, in a wrap or even as a snack. Enjoy!

Thank you. Very easy to follow! I like how you showed when to cook your food in a stainless steel pan. I never knew that. What brand pan do you like? I want to use stainless all the time, but when I look for a pan, they seem to have aluminum in them which I don't want because of the link with alzheimers disease. Is there a brand that is 100% stainless? Thanks

Hi BM! Thank you for watching and for your question! My pan does contain aluminum (it's usually in most stainless steel pans because it helps conduct heat really well). I do know however that some brands offer 100% stainless steel like Lagostina and All Clad. I found some specific pans for you here: www.bustle.com/p/the-best-stainless-steel-cookware-without-aluminum-surface-18668828 Hope this helps!
