YOOOoo no way i fish this spot all the time! Its a good snakehead spot early in the season but its highly pressured by kayak fisherman, like myself. I would recommend running up in Potomac creek which is adjacent to Accokeek creek. Good Luck my dude

Try to fishing snakehead in the raining day..they love to hunt in raining day..because frogs also love to go out when raining and snakehead love to eat frogs
Come fishing with me for some real big snakeheads. My secret pond has 10+ pound fish in it. Obviously can't promise a monster or any because these fish are incredibly smart but a majority of the fish are over 10lbs. My most recent one was 12 lbs and the biggest one I've caught was 15 lbs. The only fish I have caught have been over 10 lbs. These fish are monsters. Would love to take you if you are down.
I've fished the Potomac river for over 50yrs and I would sooner catch snakehead than anything. I would kill a bass before before I even hurt a snakehead. Catch and release

Catching snakehead topwater is awesome but after years of catching them I have my best luck on roostertails and spinner baits

If your ever at the tidal basin hit up Ohio bridge by the Jefferson Memorial. Snakeheads stay in that spot
I caught a nice 2 pounder today, got told to not put it back in the water.
