It's a lot better not to upgrade the guns first playthrough. If you save all the money and crafting supplies for the final boss you can cheat the unlock system. You don't get enough cash to upgrade every gun but you'll have almost enough to buy all upgrades for most guns which unlocks the infinite ammo unlock.
Lyle was really on point this whole playthrough. He just seems more relaxed and natural without trying too hard to be funny. Lyle is my favorite snakey-snu.

So funny story when this series was coming out, I was watching it when I saw an odd green spot in my vision, I assumed something was wrong with the video and I asked my brother if he saw it to and he didn't, I switched my TV to another video and sure enough I still saw the spot. So of course I got a bit scared. Well a few doctors appointments and other stuff later, it turns out I have idiopathic intercrainial hypertension. There was too much pressure behind my eyes and I have an elevated white cell count in my spine, so I was admitted to the hospital and stayed there for a few weeks and then I got a spinal tap and now the issue has died down, we don't know if I'm gonna have to have another spinal tap but if it gets bad again I might have to. But anyways I'm feeling fine and I have a trip to Chicago planned soon. So long story short oneyplays got me hospitalized. Update: I'm doing good! That's for the kindness!

Shame that they just labeled this as ”generic europe". Some scenery pieces in this game are so rich in detail that you'd think the artists lived here their entire lives. Even doodads you wouldn't look at like beer bottles and pots are almost perfectly rendered. Any Romanian or Transylvanian Hungarian looking at a scene from this game can probably instinctively point out where you can see similar scenery. Even the fucking picket fences are perfect, just looking at a few scenes in this game feels like a fever dream because of how bizarrely familiar everything seems.

Never played this game. Only ever watched this playthrough. But 1:45:50 remains to me one of the biggest shocks I’ve ever felt from a video game experience.

I remember I had to learn a Shakespeare play for each year of high school. Grade 9 was Romeo and Juliette, grade 10 was Julius Ceaser, grade 11 was Macbeth, grade 12 I opted to take English electives instead of just 12th grade English. One of those electives was Shakespeare's Tragedies where we read 'Titus Andronicus', Othello', and 'Hamlet'.

The mine exploding in the cutscene at the end was golden…good shit

This game just feels like a RE version of the Addams Family but it's still pretty great
I love how through the entire series, Chris just does not fucking block. And it all builds up to this beautiful joke payoff by Lyle at 7:23:23 that is even better considering how many times they’ve told him.
