For real he's a funny dude and I enjoy pretty much everything he puts out. I wish he'd do more animation and music but OneyPlays is something I don't want to go away. The banter between bros and just genuinely funny and talented hosts/guests make it the only let's play channel I've ever watched and enjoyed.

1:09:30 is probably one of my favorite moments in all of OneyPlays. It actually did scare me the first time I saw it because of the Tar Man and Chris screaming, but the way it just abruptly cuts off just hits me the right way, especially because the original episode ended there.

there are for sure lost episodes because i remember one time ding dong tweeted that they played and recorded the whole game in vr, one day i'd love to see some stuff that never got released.
That’s usually because those episodes are too boring or they lost them or because I seem to remember that these videos were awful to edit not sure if that lasts one true but I heard it somewhere

I do the same thing its oddly comforting, these or the compilations. Videos with zach tend to be louder though and call it sacrilege but its a little annoying while trying to wind down

I don't think it's the amount of blood that's weird, rather the fact that so much blood is being lost and the protag is still up and about

Yeah, their constant nitpicks expecting some kind of horror sandbox are annoying, and Julian’s constant questioning of everything is too. God forbid a story not give you all of the information at once, or that you have to look in the room first to see what puzzle a hint is referring to. Was still enjoyable, but they didn’t treat this game fair.
Ding dong is totally that person that's too "manly and brave" to be scared, but as soon as he played himself, would shat.

This entire series was just Ding Dong and Julian making fun of Chris being scared of a scary game
They were probably being a huge buzz kill to Chris. He was trying to enjoy it. They were not even being funny about it.

More games NEED to utilize vr like this to enhance the experience not be a gimic.
It's a gimmick in this game too though, it wasn't made for VR and there are no motion controls. You just sit down with a headset and hold a gamepad. It'd be better if VR adaptations actually let you use your hands.

My Mom wouldn't get me creepy crawlers or Dr. Dreadful, because they were messy and they required you to buy extra supplies for it. In the late 90's I remember them making one that actually used metal and she refused to get it for me because she said it was probably too dangerous. I can't imagine the "metal" they used had to be heated up that much or they wouldn't have sold it to kids.

The "blood" on the edge of the screens really take you out of it, and the circle flashlight view, and when you turn super small as you get close to things

maybe the mood was different, maybe they don't hold it to the classics standards. RE7 was herald as a return to the roots but its more like a chainsaw massacre copycat game than actual re. The mocap is ugly.
RE4 is just as stupid but I think Chris let it pass cuz he love the gameplay. RE4 & RE7 are so far removed from classsic re that they can be their own franchises.
RE4 embraces it's goofiness and doesn't take itself too seriously. This game does which makes the goofy parts jarring.
This playthrough was really fun aside from hearing dingdang constantly telling chris he can't be scared while playing a horror game. I love all of them, but just let the man be spooked without shaming him for being scared lol.
