It was refreshing to see that their sexuality wasn't a big deal, she didn't have to come out or use a lable but it was still clear that she isn't straight.
I LOVED that one scene in season 2, where there was a montage of Eleanor's soulmates and one of them was Tahani-

I agree with the nbd and relationship thing but I still like characters to say they're bi, just because a lot of the time they dance around using the word and it can be irritating. You can clarify and name something while still keeping it casual. 🤷

Also they're not saying that they have representation so it's not false advertising which is a big part of queerbaiting. Literally the only thing that would make it more canon is Eleanor saying that she's bi but her actions plus Kristen herself saying that Eleanor is bi is pretty damn good.

I like the fact that when she says she likes girls she just does it very naturally, like there's no need to say anything else or make a fuss about it because there isn't. Proves that you can make an openly bi character without having to make an official statement or making their sexual orientation relevant to the plot. It's not that difficult.
What shows have you watched where a not straight person's sexual orientation was relevant to the plot?

I like how this doesnt ignore her male attraction, for some reason a lot of bi stuff is centered around the "gayer" side so it's nice to see the whole of it. As a bi it's easy to feel like I'm not "gay enough" for the lgbt, and that the only part of my sexuality thats valid is the same-sex loving side when its not true. In short good video

The fact that Janet has the ability to accurately predict how Simone would react to Eleanor trying to break up with her for Chidi. Therefore, it is very very possible that Simone and Eleanor would be attracted to each other and definitely could’ve been a couple.

She's one of my favorite types of bisexual which is the "there's never a wrong time to be horny" bisexual (note there are also gay and straight people like this but it's always so much fun with a bisexual character because as long as there are people involved, hornyness is a possibility)

I just love how in Michael Schur's shows, being bi and/or gay is just a normal thing. It doesn't need to be advertised or the character having to shove it down peoples throats. It's just treated as being straight.
