A brilliant and precise performance, which is, most probably, the best I have ever heard of this particular piece. Can't wait to see and hear some more of your repertoir.
I love this video, the playing is controlled, the video production is engaging and the audio quality is great. Very reminiscent of Barrueco's recording in arrangement and tone production!
pianist here: this is one of my favorite Scarlatti sonatas on piano, but I have to say it sounds equally fantastic on guitar. I love the way Diaz makes the melody emerge from the flow of notes (like at 1:30).
@@niqnact1121 I agree. So great to hear a comment from a pianist on how good this sounds. This is true guitar mastery to my ears that I will always enjoy hearing again.
Super nice playing an interpretation even though he skips some of the accompaniment notes and sometimes the middle voice. Really fantastic play and oh so much fun to watch, sit back and enjoy the pureness and organization of a good Scarlatti Sonata. Gosh these Dammann guitars sound soooo bass heavy it's amazing. No balance in them at all. Even wolf-tone on the F#s and all... Would love to see this player use a world class guitar like a Hauser, Rubio, Field, Romanillos etc. What a fantastic fit that would be. Amazing playing. Please treat us with more of your videos.
Great pleasure to listen and to watch. Beautiful music and performance. Many thanks for shearing this. I wish it'll be possible to buy Your new cd on iTunes Store soon.

Pura paz su interpretación! Es muy agradable de escuchar! :)
Fantastic work Marcos, Scarlatti really took some harmonic journeys here, k1, and k175 are especially fun. And k53 seems too be popular these days. Thankyou again
Marcos Diaz, thank you for the lovely interpretation. It is the closest to perfect one can get with respect to how this song should sound. Can you please try sonata k.30? I think you would do wonderful with this piece. Either way, thank you so much for your time and effort, God bless.
Anyone playing , learning this ? I'm interested in how you'd go about it. It's so beautiful, really lovely. Has anyone purchased these? I find it hard too memorize these

Should record all 30.
You mean all 555 of Scarlatti's sonatas?
@@eoers7146 I wanted to keep my wish within the realm of possibilities, haha.
Perhaps referring to the 30 published during Dcarlatti’s lifetime….
@@lynngilbert1596 Yes. Since he published them himself, they work very well as a single body of compositions.
Amazing. Tablature Is It available?
You can buy the score in the following links

@@MarcosdiazGuitarra ok no problem to buy, but does the songbook include tablature?
@@Doubleback11Thank you very much for your interest. There is no tablature, only sheet music with musical notation. All the best
