This video makes me grin from ear to ear. I'm American so obviously USAF over everything... But when I was a kid in the 90s, I saw photos of an Su-27 painted in blue tiger stripe camo with full AA/AG loadout and it's been my favorite jet since. Gorgeous!
When you consider that the Flanker is slightly longer than the Lancaster bomber, you appreciate what a huge fighter it is.
Oleksandr Oksanchenko (1968-2022) recently died heroically in an air battle defending the Ukrainian sky from Russian fighter jets, he was awarded the highest award "Hero of Ukraine"

Su27s Mig29s are no match to those more advance Russian fighter jets and its latest kirby electronic warfare suits on board the Russian fighters...
US NATO should close the Ukrine airspace and enforce a 24/7 NFZ just like they did in Iraq war...

That would be awesome sight to see NATO F35s in action shooting down dog fighting SU35S SU57s over the 'NFZ' and dodging the S300,S400,S500,S550 Pansir ADs... see how the NATO measure up against the latest Russian Fighter jets and ADs... that would be an awesome sight to see...
The plane is the size of a B1 bomber, nearly. You guys ever seen an F15 up close? N where near this size and that's meant to be what the Flanker was built to fly against. I bet more than three quarters of the systems in that cockpit are still analogue.

@@Rogge73 They're both good-looking, but the Tomcat's old style flat windshield is a blot on its looks... some might say it gives it character, but for me, it's a 3rd gen throwback.
I would have to say the F-22 is superior in looks and performance.

It's truly gorgeous... But I still think the most beautiful jet ever built is the F14 Tomcat.
On June 16, 1990 I saw the SU-27 when it was flown into middle America, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma along with the phenomenal An-225. To this day the SU-27 in my mind remains one of the most beautiful fighter aircraft ever! Thank you for this superb video showing this incredible aircraft.

me, just the cockpit, and its avoinics.. it should be updated with newr hud, cockpit hotas display etc...and newer radar..

That's why it seems to me that the new F-15X would achieve a considerable favourable exchange rate against something like the Su-35.

They are not alwys showing the su 27. Sometimes you see the su 30. You can notice by 1 and 2 seater. The su 30 is a 2 seater and the su 27 is a 1 seater.
in a real dogfight with only guns. no aircraft can stand a chance against su 27 and its later variants.in the hands of capable pilots
