So the difference between choice 2 marketing creator and 3 affiliate- are if you have your own product? Not sure I understand the TWO and which I should sign up for? I do not have my own products. Just want to do videos and promote from TT marketplace?
Choice 1: you need to have your own product Choice 2 (marketing creator) and Choice 3 (affiliate), for these 2, you do not need your own products. Choice 2 and Choice 3, both gives you access to Product Marketplace and the ability to product any products from it. The difference is for Choice 2, you are linked to a TikTok Shop Seller account. Choice 3, it is a standalone Creator account.
I did what most people were saying, open a seller account to do get the affilate links, but when I did I had no access to the affiliate side because they've already blocked it, I was too late. So I had to delete my account and make a new one. They said seller accounts will not have access to affiliate links at all. Hope that help!

I have close to 6k followers on my account but somehow got 23 points and banned due to one and just one video and funny thing is I used the affiliate shop to make a shoppable video, lol any way out of this mess, the video was removed and it says my account is in good standing
@DerekKumo Ithe 1st screen says temporary suspended the next screen permanently, and no, I can not re apply. It's all blocked and only error codes when going to shop for creators
Hi. I have a Question. I got in through the loophole. April 4th everything was working fine. I had access to the Affiliate Market Place. Last Saturday May 11th I was going to promote a product and I did not have access to the Market Place anymore? I know that it is due to the Policy change. My question My account is in Good standing, no violations, I have over 5,000 followers. What can I do to not Have a sellers account, which is the problem and just request to be a Affiliate Creator. I contacted and put in a Ticket to support on April 12th I have not heard back from them it says processing. What else can I do. I want to try to still use this account. Or do you think I should open a new account and build it up and apply on that account. If so can I still use all my same information. But I would prefer to use the one that is already approved since I am not banned and no violations. How do I get my account to be a Stand alone Creators Account?

This might be a dumb question, but hear me out - why not start your own shop where you create the creatives and handle shipping in a drop shipping manner? does TT not allow this?
You can link a Print on Demand business, like Printify or Printful, to TikTok shop. So I'm sure there's a way to do drop shipping since many sellers on TikTok shop sell through Amazon too. I have a small print-on-demand business and made a TikTok shop account before they made these changes and now I'm not able to promote other businesses' products as an affiliate anymore :(

I create videos on this channel to provide free info to help people and the referenced workaround method has worked well for a good 7 months and tons of people have had success with it. And guess what, things are subject to change and that's beyond my or anyone's control. yes, definitely get to 5k first, there used to be a workaround method but for right now you need to have at least 5k followers

I am not 100% sure but I think if you set up a TikTok shop seller account, you actually need to be responsible to ship the products
