OWL CREEK WATERSHED - 319 WATER QUALITY PROGRAM

The Owl Creek Watershed is located in northeast Mississippi, near Ripley, in Tippah County. In 2021, sediment nonpoint source pollution was identified, resulting in the implementation of the Section 319 program of the Federal Clean Water Act. The Owl Creek watershed project was delivered through the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ).
