My grandmother was a grand pianist and organist and as she taught us she always said anyone can just play music but when you put your heart into it and enjoy what your playing it changes what your playing so others have the full experience of enjoying it.

I worked for years as technician for Yamaha piano's. Good to see that more good pianists play them in concerts and recordings in stead of allways the same Steinway.

    • @vonnihughes9085

I agree. Yamaha grands are ridiculously under-rated.

    • @christianwouters6764

@@vonnihughes9085 The quality controls are very strict. We were required to apply the same standards and tolerances for every single piano, from the smallest B1 to the concert grand. Sth that is often lacking for other manufacturers.

And my first hearing was this dull damp Saturday morning here in South Devon after hearing YoYo Ma and a pianist duet (as a verb) One day over the rainbow. - or is it Some day ? What now seems like a hundred years ago; stayed with my niece and her husband in Dallas.. I heard the Dallas S O and a lady with a nice voice sing the last of Strauss's "Four Last Songs" -abendtrot ..cycled the park, visited the art gallery, saw the playhouse and had my first taste of Mexican cuisine . Be very happy to come back and do it all over again. If I heeeeear the word awesome..pronounced Ossum once more I shall just have to break something..there is... believe it or not, there is a much better adjectiveto describe something that pleases and impresses. My best wishes Don F

I played classical music on piano as a kid but came no where near the mastery this woman possesses. She doesn't even look at the keys because it's all part of her, as well as having all those compositions etched in her head. Utterly magnificent.

    • @dearheart2
      @dearheart2 2 года назад +1

As soon as you are semi professional or so, you have so much practice that the Piano is an extension of you, you can't play fast and smooth/natural if you have to locate the keys. She does look at the keys, but not to make sure where what is, is it "ready at hand". It is like that in all professions. She is then further than an "ordinary" professional and you can hear that in the touch of the keys.

Good players are not always good instructors or coaches. Look at the olympics. The coaches are usually not former olympic champions; but they can bring out the best in an athlete. Look at the best coaches in baseball and football: they are usually “C” players, not “A” players. The reason: with “A” players excellence comes almost naturally; everyone else needs to work at it.

Why any Russian should ever want to be in Austria?
      Did she married a Banker?
(Oh I would have so much of strong joke about a banker paraphrasing the words of an old deviated US sanator while at the opera watching her fingers moving along the keyboards but I will not tell because general world situation is already enough sad... end her fingers are indeed majestic.)
      P.S:
For any hair stylist reading, That is what Everyone mean when they say 'scalated'
      P.P.S:
For the first camera man: You stop moving the camera that way unless you don't wanna eat her from below in the next shoot or making her stabbed by a maniac... it isn't Jaws nor Psyco..
One take sequence of the lines of the piano and the strings that play with her face above the vibrant lines would be enough, thanks.
And yes the close up of the fingers was necessary..
      Thanks.
