It's a divine pleasure to listen and watch You play this piece. You are just so in touch with the mood of Beethoven, and - wow- You are gorgeous in your emotional and artisitc totality. Your beaty is simply overwhelming. And playing with such ease, although, as a pianist myself, I know the long hours of training behind that. Thanks for making a video like this.

Bravo!! You played this with the intensity that he had intended. This sonata is a window into tumultuous times at the height of the Napoleonic wars. A time of great passion, violence and pathos. Bravo!

What an immensely beautiful interpretation!!! One of the most beautiful I've ever heard (have about thirty renditions of Appassionata in my modest home collection, not to mention many others I've enjoyed).
For the people who don't like camera in this video (as we can read in some of the comments below), also for those who might be distracted by Anastasia's feminine beauty (and she is breathtaking indeed): close your eyes. Don't watch, just listen to the music. Music speaks by itself and needs no other resources.

One huge advantage of being locked down by the Corvid virus threat is that I suddenly have much more of that precious thing "Time", and can use some of it to discover and appreciate young talent - such as this wonderful playing by Anastasia - and developments such as the TED lectures, and "Virtual choir" techniques, such as developed by Eric Whitacre. Together what a wonderful and unexpected benefit. We Brits say, "every cloud has a silver lining" , but in this case the lining is pure gold. Thank-you, Anastasia.

Merci pour tout cela car vous nous donnez dans ce monde actuel, ce bonheur qui est de plus en plus rare à trouver. Continuez s'il vous plait à nous charmer de cette façon si intense.

Enthralling! The editing of the camera work only enhances the magnificence of the performance by entwining the dazzling fingering with the emotional intensity each phrasing impacts on the performer. If I could play as divinely she does, I would feel the same rapture she displays. This is living vicariously at its best! Her Moonlight sonata is likewise spellbinding. This video meant very much to me: my favorite song for the piano (esp. mvt.3) and the best performance I've ever heard of it, especially the 3'rd movement, played fast and aggressively, and especially the end, played extra fast (Presto, as it is actually marked), just the way I like to play it (except without all the mistakes I make). You really brought the song to life, this is one where the right performance turns it from a just a song to a priceless masterpiece and beyond, and you've done just that. I'll always be beaten up by parts like, for example, the left hand part from 17:32-17:42, or the fast jumping the left hand has to do throughout the piece, or playing the runs of parallel 3'rds cleanly when I try to play this piece the way I want, so I'm extremely grateful that you made this video so I can at least hear the song played the way I think it is meant to be played. I really hope, as you said, that you stay motivated!

Look at you... What have you done Anastasia!?!
    Storms are now all gone,
    Oceans are calm and warm.
    Time has come for rejoicing,
Live a life full of blessing.
    I love this.

At a time, at least in American culture, where so many disregard the classics, and rely on their image and viral stunts to become famous "artists" without much sacrifice, seeing something like this is truly rare and surprising. Seeing such a beautiful young woman, playing all the classics with such artistry and technical proficiency, knowing the countless hours, days, months and years she must have struggled in solitude somehow gives me great hope for the future. Great interpretation. It's as if you had found Beethoven's raging voice and brought it back to life.

If Beethoven had watched this goddess playing his music, imagine the body of musical pieces we would have today; Beethoven’s, that is.

This is just awesome. Composition and performance! 10 points to both of the two artist!
Beethoven is definitely my favourite classical piano music composer and Anastasia is clearly one of my favourite pianists.
The sonata's name could not be more descriptive. This is just passion throughout the whole sonata!
    Movement I: 5:00-5:30. Wow!
Movement III: At 19:05 Anastasia's hands are like waves on the water.
23:46: OMG. And really amazing end.
The more I listen to this, the better it gets.
I like it all but movement III is splendid.
