- Brandon Raynor continues his demonstration on Dan by showing Raynor massage techniques for the back and how to finish a Raynor massage.
Dan left a great review after the course
"I spent 7 days hands on with Brandon, Lilly and about a dozen friendly students like myself. I signed on as a beginner, I did the online course, and though upon arrival I was behind my fellow students in skill (some of whom were extremely experienced in various caring arts) I never felt neglected. The course I attended was truly a boutique course where Brandon worked his way through the group, demonstrating and teaching according to our individual ability and experience. It's undeniable that we all had our minds blown. I would recommend the experience to anyone. My level of bodily awareness has totally changed, the level of detail was fascinating, and if you are a novice like me you will also be in the best hands!
Thanks"
A deep Raynor massage for the back addresses the complex layers of muscle and connective tissue to release deep-seated tension, alleviate pain, and enhance overall mobility. Given the back's crucial role in support and movement, and its susceptibility to stress and strain, this type of massage can be particularly beneficial. Here are some of the key benefits and techniques involved in a deep Raynor massage for the back:
Benefits
Pain Relief: Chronic back pain, often caused by muscle tension, poor posture, or underlying health conditions, can be significantly alleviated through the deep tissue techniques used in Raynor massage. By focusing on releasing the tension in the muscles and connective tissue, it can help reduce discomfort and improve quality of life.
Improved Flexibility and Range of Motion: Tight muscles and restricted connective tissue can limit the spine's mobility. Raynor massage works to loosen these restrictions, enhancing flexibility and range of motion in the back and spine.
Stress and Tension Release: The back is a common area for the accumulation of stress and emotional tension. The deep, focused pressure of Raynor massage helps release these blockages, promoting a sense of relaxation and well-being.
Enhanced Circulation: Improved blood flow is a direct benefit of massage therapy. For the back, this means more oxygen and nutrients delivered to the muscles, aiding in recovery and healing.
Supports Postural Alignment: Chronic tension and muscle imbalances can lead to poor posture. Raynor massage techniques can help correct these imbalances by releasing tight muscles and allowing the body to return to a more natural and aligned posture.
Promotes Healing: By increasing circulation and reducing tension, Raynor massage can support the body's natural healing processes, beneficial for recovering from back injuries or strains.
Detoxification: The stimulation of the lymphatic system helps in removing toxins from the body. Massage encourages this process, contributing to improved immune system function and overall health.
Techniques
Deep Tissue Manipulation: Targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue with firm pressure to release chronic tension.
Myofascial Release: Focuses on releasing restrictions in the fascia, the connective tissue surrounding muscles, to restore mobility.
Trigger Point Therapy: Involves applying pressure to specific points of tension or "knots" in the muscles to relieve pain and enhance movement.
Stretching and Mobilization: Techniques are used to improve flexibility and range of motion in the back and spine.
Breath Work: Clients may be guided through specific breathing techniques to enhance relaxation and facilitate the release of tension.
Considerations
Personalization: The massage is tailored to the individual's specific needs and conditions, considering their level of tension, pain points, and overall health.
Client Feedback: Active communication between the client and therapist is essential for ensuring the massage's effectiveness and comfort level.

A psychic once told me that I would marry a guy called Dan. Finally I’ve seen him! Beautiful x🥰
You know
Yeah me too
What are you guys talking about
Hello why does it feel so good but also painful when massaging the top of my midfoot between the fourth and fifth toes? I enjoy it very much but it is quite painful - is it connected to any reflexology points? Thank you for the new video
It’s a powerful pressure point on the upper little toe band. Is your little toe turned in?
The more tension you have then typically the more pain you will experience. The more you massage and rid your foot of tension, it should no longer hurt.
Definitely follow along with Brandon starting by loosing up the toes, you can then roll your feet over golf balls to get deeper into pressure points.
Sounds like either the shoulder or chest.
@@brandonraynor the pinky toe is pretty straight. I love when the top of the foot gets massaged it feels so good but it's just so painful. Similar issues with the top of the big toe joint.
@@corinicole3444 I do feel pain in both my shoulder and my thumbs and side of my outer part of my hands. It just feels so good when the top of my foot is massaged but also very painful too.
Hahahah that’s a technical term.
I like my technical terms….
