Nothing to do with how much money a person has. It depends on the value that a client places on the treatment that determines whether they are a better client or not. A common way, but not the only way, that value is measured is by price. If you listen to my other videos you will clearly see that I often talk about whether students want to do massage as a business, as a charity or as a combination. The majority of the people that attend my course need to make a living out of massaging so either want to do it as a business or as a combination. If people want to do it purely as a business then you want to get the highest hourly income that you can as the number of hours per week that you can do of this kind of work is limited. If a person wants to do this work as both a business and charity then the business side of their work should be the side that makes them enough money to both cover all their living expenses and pay for their charity. If a person that wants to this purely for charity then they should still figure out a way to figure out who the best clients would be. That would be those that are most deserving but also those that are most appreciative and wanting to work with the therapist to get better. It’s important to not take one sentence out of context.

I am really not sure where you are coming from? The government is controlled by the orthodox medical industry and only subsidise orthodox medical treatments not massage therapy. I do believe at the end of the day a worker deserves their wages. I am still interested in what "energy" is being used to assist the patients.
I always ask my students do they want to massage as a business or as a charity or a combination. When massaging as a business we want to get the most profit. When massaging as a charity we want to help the most deserving. Most people are not inherently wealthy just to massage as a charity. Massage therapists that don’t charge enough become needy of charity and then often have to give up massaging and take on a higher paid job. Then the world loses a good massage therapist. No it’s too expensive. The government should fund such studies but unfortunately they are beholden to the global pharmaceutical industries and their drug approach to most health problems.
Indeed. You never wondered why your phone can sometimes last for longer on 1% battery? You're gripping it tighter, creating a laser of qi that maintains the charge.
Quack pseudoscience….. right. You mean an extremely effective massage. Or do you call everything based on traditional Asian healing methods pseudoscience and quacks because of some sort of bias that you have?
@@brandonraynor My only bias is the one towards the scientific method. Nice attempt at labelling me prejudiced, but those tactics are dirty, so give them up ASAP if you want anyone to respect you. If these theories are not falsifiable, they are not scientifically applicable as anything except placebo at best. No actual study or theory has proven "energies," or whatever system you use. It really doesn't matter if it's "traditional" or old or from some area people like to ascribe to being healthy, it's simply not real.
@brandonraynor not incorrect, but that also doesn't mean it *does* exist, either. So when you make a video saying it does exist, and showing its utilities, it's up to *you* to provide the evidence of it existing. You can't just say "it COULD exist" and then go on as if it does. The burden of evidence is on you to prove the existence of this system that you are showing as real and working. You cannot hide behind "it could be real, you never know." You started the discussion with the video!
Great game ... guess the minute the word Chakra (which is Hindi for dead cat) pops up, and see who gets closest without going over. As soon as the word comes up, the winner gets to block the channel and follow their Third Eye to the next pretend medicine channel , where the game starts over.
"You wanna charge more to get better patients." I agree. Naturalistic medicine should be gatekept for the elite. We dont want any of those poors out here, taking up the time of people who are worth it.
You obviously haven’t listened to my full talk about this. I always talk to students about whether they are doing massage as a business or massage as a charity. Business and charity have two different objectives and can work together. A good business can support a good charity. A bad business needs charity. From the point of view of charging I believe it’s true that if you don’t charge enough in many cases people don’t value what you do and you will get less serious customers. That’s my opinion after 35 years in business and charity.
If you don't use enough pressure, the energy just starts spraying out everywhere. The Chinese think of the body as a can of Pepsi. It gets shaken up in our day to day lives. When we begin the massage, we're opening the can. Never take the lid straight off. You'll make a mess.
I'm not sure I'm entirely sold with the explanation, or 'science' behind this, but I can't deny that this looks like an exceptional massage. It must feel amazing afterwards.

Are there any peer reviewed scientific studies backing up the claims you make in this video?
No it’s too expensive. The government should fund such studies but unfortunately they are beholden to the global pharmaceutical industries and their drug approach to most health problems.
All that wasted energy he threw down could help charge the electric cars of the future
Don’t worry it was taken up by plants
Indeed. You never wondered why your phone can sometimes last for longer on 1% battery? You're gripping it tighter, creating a laser of qi that maintains the charge.
Watching this because the guy is cute
Complete quack pseudoscience in terms of this being "real," but the massage, as a massage, looks pretty great.
@ wrong. Just because something isn’t proven doesn’t mean it isn’t real. That’s very unscientific of you. It just means it hasn’t been proven
This dude is trying so hard to hide his pain, lol.
Great game ... guess the minute the word Chakra (which is Hindi for dead cat) pops up, and see who gets closest without going over. As soon as the word comes up, the winner gets to block the channel and follow their Third Eye to the next pretend medicine channel , where the game starts over.
Sounds like you found some good acid
that's some real bullshit but the massage itself is nice
@@treix3360 that’s kind of rude but complimentary at the same time
This was great. On mute.
Cant believe you don’t have to wear a mask in Aussie
In Queensland where we lived we only had to wear a mask for a week during the pandemic
Nice😅
Thanks 😅
"You wanna charge more to get better patients."
I agree.
He can choose his own clients. Cry about it 😂
poor guy is in pain
Masochist?...see anticipation wood at sec :17
Just be lucky he was not doing your feet
Why use so much pressure? More is not always more.
I use enough pressure to get rid of chronic tension
If you don't use enough pressure, the energy just starts spraying out everywhere. The Chinese think of the body as a can of Pepsi. It gets shaken up in our day to day lives. When we begin the massage, we're opening the can. Never take the lid straight off. You'll make a mess.
“You want to charge more so you get quality clients”? Oof.
Some people don’t appreciate things that are cheap
