I feel like Ys X Nordics is an amazing combination of Ys VIII & Ys IX With Ys VIII beautiful locations, adventure and exploration And with Ys IX freedom of movement and animations
falcom never disappoints. they never really focus on the graphics of their games and just focus on the gameplay and mechanics and makes it fun and enjoyable. that's why they're my favorite game devs. cause they just makes fun games. unlike other billion dollar game companies who makes the graphics realistic and makes the gameplay mechanics garbage and boring.
Exactly. Besides, the graphics suit the characters and world. We don't need random "ultra realistic" or "next gen" graphics for it to be good. That's like looking at these pixel or PS1 inspired games and saying they're bad cuz they dont look like "Last of Us Remake" or something. I love this series and hope they keep it coming. Especially since the gameplay is the best thing about it imo.
Ys 10 is looking so much better. They need to massively promote this game to make sure it sells big. This time, it actually looks like a decent game. The people making this series work so hard but it goes unnoticed. Falcom please do this game justice. I don't know about your financial stability but do everything in your power to get this game out to as many people as you can. We all start somewhere before going big. It's never too late
Nah there is more coming (and yes full 4 party team). It's just a new combat system where u hav 2 of them fighting together in sync for new combos and such.
Given it kinda chugged occasionally on Ys 9. And with them using a brand new lighting system. I say it will run roughly the same or at times worse. Still playable though most likely. lol
@@Daigon95 They're using a new engine and building the Switch version in house, whereas it was previously outsourced. So there's a higher chance that it will run well this time.But I'll believe it when I see it.
The Falcom Ys games are always fun and the music is top notch but honestly the graphics in their games always look dated. These look like 10 years old from last gen systems.
Its sadly always been like tht for the series. Really do wish they were marketed more since this is like the best series tht comes from Falcom. imo It really does deserve more recognition. Since they always concentrate on the mechanics, gameplay and music tht makes it stand out amongst most big hitter JRPGs. imo I think it can easily contend with the Top 3 JRPGs: Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Tales.
@@Daigon95 Really? Isn't Ys IX has multiple trailers, like gameplay trailer, characters trailer, story trailer, etc. This game only has a web commercial, which didn't show much.
@@MinhLe19303 Ys X also had 2 prev events showcasing the game and released promo material. Ys 9 didnt get more marketable material till months after its japanese release. And it was only like a foot note mention in the West. So u hav to actively look for the marketing material.

Ultra realistic graphic make games all looks the same. It's like my everyday life. But glorified. And fantasized. Cold and grey.
Nihon Falcom is a small company. It’s not known for realistic graphics. It has a trademark art style and music style.

7は普通に入港して始まるし9でも普通に訪れたら巻き込まれパターンだから以外とぬるっと始まるパターンもあるで
まぁ１と２が終わった後ならシルバーソードとか持ってないですし。
まだ若い頃なんだから追い剥ぎは勘弁したれ。
9で船の沈没率を尋問されたのは草なんだわ

The mouth movements are smooth, but somewhat unsettling. (At the very beginning on the boat at least.)
