In Loving Memory Of

I loved it when Dr. Warner brought up Sarah was the aggressor and she pointed out the ex husband Brian stated that.
That was the BEST part of her testimony.
Paul your reading of the states depo was impeccable and entertaining😂😆 Excellent job!!
I watched that part of Dr. Werner's testimony with Owen but your reading of it is MUCH more entertaining. 😅
Notice those buzz words. Restlessness, uneasiness. Sarah began to use those words after the Doctor was on the stand
The part about almost taking the SAT (she's only a few years older than me; the entrance exams were the SAT) makes me think that she didn't actually graduate highschool.
I LOVE how she always corrects him when he calls her a psychologist. There's no way he's stupid enough to not understand the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist after the first time he's been informed. He IS stupid enough to try to talk down to a psychiatrist, as if she couldn't figure him out within two minutes.
I think Owens was trying to set up a dismissal when he kept asking if she intended to talk about anything. Any trial lawyer knows that a witness can only answer the questions that the lawyers ask; they never intend to talk about anything.
His condescending tone was so annoying!! Calling his staff “girls” and talking down to the doctor. He’s a pos!
@aprilgeewhiz3814 he also called her neighbors "the boys" to try to denigrate their testimony on when they both independently heard and felt a 100 pound weight fall down the stairs next door.
I normally cut defense lawyers some slack, but he soecifically sought out this case.
I was doubting her credentials as well!!!
“Sarah The Boone “ 😂
In Boonville because it's her world, we are just living in it
I laughed out loud at that one😂😂
Paul I’m crying here I’ve just got in from work here in the uk and the way you are doing bones lawyer is spot on thank you so much 😂😂
I am LIVING FOR your reading of this!!!! I LOVE this so much!!!❤❤❤
I can just see Sarah Sarah glaring at the Psychiatrist.
Hahaha! You sound just like Owens! I keep laughing!
You cracked me up when you said “ Sarah the Boone “ in Owen’s voice 😂😂😂😂😂😂
It almost sounds like First Degree because I truly doubt Hide and Seek.
No one believes that she doesn't know how hide and seek works. But a lot of evidence wasn't admissible until she took the stand to claim BSS. They had to charge based on the evidence they knew would be allowed at the time.
@@doom4067, Yes, I honestly believe that if they went for First degree that they definitely had a good chance of getting her on that but I also understand why they didn’t want to take that chance. I believe that the Judge will sentence her to at least 30 years. That is just my unprofessional opinion. This Judge has had to put up with A LOT obviously but he is also VERY fair and I truly believe that he will sentence her on what he feels that she deserves and not sentence her based on how extremely obnoxious that she has been and what she has put the court system through. And for that I have a LOT of respect for him because I don’t believe that I could be quite as professional as him and maybe that is why it is better that I am NOT a judge because I would absolutely have a hard time with that power and not being a least a bit petty when it came to sentencing… Just being honest 🤷♀️
You crack me up reading the transcript.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I couldn't stop giggling during the Owen's parts...love it!!
How is The expert suppose to answer Owen’s question “ anything I forgot to ask you about”. How is she suppose to know what he forgot
I so needed this today! This is one of the many reasons I support you through Patreon. You’re so funny while being informative.
Thank you for helping me get through this truly horrible, painful, frustrating week. I guess America loves true crime so much they elected a felon.
That last sentence should be on t-shirts and coffee mugs!
That last sentence should be on t-shirts and coffee mugs!
They only vote for rich felons; the poor ones actually go to jail.
He doesn't know what a Non Profit is! OMG 🤯😳🤯😳
Does anybody get reminded of Dwight from the office when the forensic psychiatrist is going over why Sarah sounds like a narcissist? She described herself as "assistant to the manager". " LMAO! 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Replay watcher here! Your readings are to die for 🤣🤣🤣
Rewatch crew! Paul I was dying from your reading and the accents 😂😂 I needed the laughter. You lit up my day!
Aaaaaand, the Oscar goes to Paul for his dramatic reading in the Comedy category!!
LOL, I know it's Paul's voice but it reminds me so much of owens i find myself getting annoyed. 😂
This was awesome Paul! You absolutely nailed it! Especially Owens accent & attitude, lol. Sarah has the narcissisms!😄
I don't believe hide & seek ever happened either! We know by the time Jorgé called his brother she was amped up, yelling about choking her, & probably escalated her abuse from there. We also know she didn't want to be evicted & that the police calls magically stopped when she was threatened with it, up until that night. That's why I think something happened that made her snap which was him grabbing the suitcase to pack up & leave. She beat him so badly & imo told him to get in the sc which he did hoping to escape the beating. But most significantly, got in not thinking she would never let him out until he died. I think it all happened upstairs, threw him down in the sc, & the shuffling after the crash neighbors heard was her dragging him to the spot she took the pic & the vids. That is so utterly brutal & evil! She is dangerous to anyone who crosses her path & deserves LWOP.
Just wish the neighbors had called the LE. If they had Jorge would likely be alive today.
I live 7 mins away from CVH in Middletown, CT. She probably worked in the Whiting Forensics building there, were they put the criminally insane. I also went to USF (for social work). I went to the St. Petersburg campus and it was so beautiful.
I gotta add one more comment. When Mr. Jay was asking these specific questions to Dr. Brandon on the stand, I picked up on the fact that the prosecution MUST have evidence of these specific scenarios. And I am a 50 year old dog trainer in Portland Oregon, not an attorney with 38 years of experience. And part of it was as the DA. of whatever podunk town he is from.
Did it not accure to Owens to go back and review the digital evidence on her phone to see what was being referred to?!!
I realize that we, the crime watchers didn't see the download of the phone til after the trial, but it was disclosed to Owens in discovery. He had access to the discovery and was at this deposition. I hate to use the words of Darrell Brooks but, mind boggling
His questions drive me crazy. He wants specific answers on some things (how many cases on BSS have you done) but wants to keep it vague or general on others (diagnosis and symptoms). As a medical professional I would answer him the same way. He formulates questions pretty poorly and it makes it clear he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. It makes him look unprepared. Words matter, especially in medical documentation and court records so differentiating between psychology and psychiatry matters. The difference between narcissistic traits and narcissistic personality disorder matters. He wants her to just be general when it actually matters.
Sorry I had to get that out lol
I’m not an expert at all, and all the instances you mentioned are extremely annoying to me! Also it seems the Owen’s just wants to use lots and lots of words, ( be they redundant questions, or repeating exactly what the expert/witness/ suspect/himself…, just iterated) possibly he knew he didn’t have a case, and just want to fill time , and fool some of the people.
Also, she must have tried to explain that Battered Spouse Syndrome is not a diagnosis. You can't point to a random person who has been through domestic partner violence and say, oh they got the Syndrome 😂. She gave up on it.
I love your dramatizations! I really would listen to books narrated by you! 😂
Omg he's confusing me the jury HAS to be DIZZY 🥴
I'm sorry I keep missing Live but believe me I'm watching with thumbs UP
I think hide and seek has a bigger significance to Sarah. There has to be a reason she mentioned it prior in her text messages. This freaking psycho SMH 🤦♀️
Agreed. The whole "Hide and Seek I shall" one month prior is definitely a clue of some kind
yes that is wild
I absolutely wish that Paul would get hired by Audible to read audio books for them… He has the most incredible ability to pull the audience into whatever story that is being told. I didn’t see this part of the trial but the way that Paul put it out there for us, I really felt like I was actually there. This dude has a TRUE gift and I am SO glad that he popped up in my feed ✌️
Kinda like Keith Morrison of Dateline
Absolutely

😅😂
I was cooking dinner and listening and it totally sounded like two different people! Your acting was top notch😀!
I had no idea James Owens asked so many stupid questions when I watched the trial live.
I think sarah got him in the suitcase upstairs .
Everyone thinks that.
I think she hit him continually with the bat upstairs and he fell down the stairs and he was unresponsive so she put him in the suitcase and he woke up telling her he couldn't breathe. That's just how I've pictured it because I don't think Jorge even as drunk as he was, trusted her enough to let her zip up the suitcase after he got in because he knew how dangerous she became when intoxicated. I think she called Brian while he was unconscious to ask Brian what she should do. None of it makes sense but his injuries were consistent with him getting hit with the bat. Her being so drunk didn't see the seriousness of the situation.
Also when she finally called 911, she said ' We were playing hide and seek and I put him in the suitcase.
@@lydibug51 I think that she hit him and knocked him out upstairs and then stuffed him in the suit case; and when he came to, pushed the suit case down the stairs. I think it is highly likely he had pulled his suit case out and was packing his things and saying he would leave. If so, this would have enraged her. Not sure if it was NOT INTENTIONAL.
I used to think she probably did do it unintentionally, but not after seeing what she texted Jorge's brother the week prior..."Play hide and seek we shall, and I will get rid of him, and life will be better." She may have had him get the extra wine to actually do him in. Not sure I believe her narrative at all. Not sure it was a good day ever, or that they did all these fun things she claims they did.
@brendakauffman2222 you make a ton of sense. I did wonder why there were clothes in the suitcase. But I do know for sure that they never played hide and seek. What a lame lie. I did see that during the trial her texts to his brother and she completely lied to the detective's about her having no knowledge of him going to publx to get more wine when she was caught on camera so you make a lot of sense. Unfortunately, we will never know exactly what happened, but I'm looking forward to whoever does a movie about her callous behavior
Love you. All ears. From Surrey England .😊😊😊😊
Dame i got it wrong what im watching was a day ago. Sorry sassie. 😮😮😊😊
Paul you're amazing. Im sorry i missed the live but enjoying the replay.
I love your James Owens!
He wants to know where those slides are to study them because he has no case.
He's more of a plea negotiator than a trial lawyer. He didn't review the evidence until after he crossed the Rubicon.
I have never been able to listen to someone read to me until you started doing this
Also I’m not really understanding or maybe I missed it or Owen’s just has me totally confused but how did she change anything she said on the stand from what she said in the deposition
She didn’t
@@tracievendetta1908 Exactly, she didn't. She may have answered a question that wasn't previously asked, but she didn't form a new opinion.
@ when I watched the trial. I was yelling at Owens. Like what?? 😂
EXCELLENT READ!!
I agree Paul. Sarah broke Jorge down physically and mentally. He was emaciated at the time of his death. I doubt that creature Sarah ever cooked a meal. I think she also abused Brian and he just took it and never hit her back. She is extremely manipulative and conniving. Makes me laugh to see how she views herself as a very intelligent person. She is quite stupid and full of herself. She was in control. She had the condo, the car, the phone, the $ etc. I pray she is never released. Her next victim will be a needy woman in the prison system. She is a danger to society, to her son and Brian. I hope they can get a fresh new start without that psychopath in their lives. Thanks Paul great stream as usual. ❤
Idk this lawyer reminds me of Sara 😂😂😂
Yay! I'so glad you made and uploaded new video
All I'm hearing from Owens is a description of Sarah as the abuser with Jorge as the "battered spouse."
Well Suitcase Sarah got caught in another lie I somehow missed. She told this doctor that she took a photo and video but on the stand she told Jay she didn’t remember taking a pic
i cant believe that this is all public record, seems like it should be some kind of violation of privacy for sarah
She wanted a new trial based on this transcript...
I missed the live, so catching up now!!!
Sarah saysi dont drink i dont want to drink i like to be compus mentus .but really what she means is out of my head raging drunk 🥴
I think that most alcoholics would tell you that they don't WANT to drink.
Rewatch crew here, Paul. @LiveFromMySofaThe Podcast - you have pegged James Owens' catitude 100%. I would however make a correction that you may be reading Dr Harper's attitude on the stand back into her attitude in the deposition in error. The deposition, having come first, may have had her presenting with a different tone than what we saw on the stand. And what we saw on the stand may have been due to James Owens' attitude toward her in the deposition. Owens is quite sexist and condescending, which we learned quite forcefully during trial and in his closing remarks introducing "the girls" of his legal team. Now they may have presented in both the deposition and on the stand as you are reading them in the deposition. However, at least for Dr Harper, for whom we have no baseline, we cannot assume her attitude with Owens on the stand was also her attitude during the deposition, at least initially. Let's face it, Owens brings out the snark and disdain in most of us eventually. 😅
Fun fact, William Jay interviewed Jenn Soto for the derivative use immunity interview.
Lets hope he will be prosecuting Sterns 💜🙏
I noticed that too! I was listening to the interview and realized I recognized his voice. Then I realized I needed to get a life!! Sarah Boone has been so fascinating but Maddie Soto is going to be tragic beyond.
@aprilgeewhiz3814
I thought it was him on first listen, but when they said Sarah and Sterns were under the 9th Judicial, I googled to check.
Too sad, I agree. Poor Madeline 💜🙏
I heard from Mr. Jay's cousin that Kranick is on one of the cases as well.
@kristereneau7121 That is good news!
Theyre both very professional gentlemen.
@@aprilgeewhiz3814can't follow cases with child victims. Too awful
Weis it just me or is Owen’s making no sense ? He has me totally lost.
Uvvvvvv that pattern! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Too funny!
I think she drew her black eye with eyeliner. Her eye is not bloodshot. Black eyes are not really black there a multitude of colors from the bruise
.
This was an absolute train wreck 😂 but now I'm thinking do we think we will have this same issues if the trial happened with lawyer number 1 and we were in the pre amber heard phase the jury wouldn't have like the thinking that women could also be abusers ....
So, which side chose this Dr? Can't tell if Owens is trying to convince himself that she is legitimate or disqualify her after already having had Sarah meet with her 🤷
The prosecution choose Dr. Warner. The reason Owens wants her thrown out is her opinion was regardless of mental health diagnosis, it doesn't justify murder.
Hello. Will you cover sierra day’s story about her daughter Anaya?
Hi paul
This attorney really did give Sarah Boone the best defense work possible. He performed well. This chick Dr. was a beach.
You do a good James. Lol
Dr Werner sounds like she has an engineering background. You must be very specific as an engineer, there is no guessing
Engineering is not subjective

Those cases are much more interesting than this. I would not watch it. Boring.
This channel and the other channel are nothing but the Sarah Boone show..I’m out. This is getting old and boring quick.
