Dude I’m over 100 HOURS INTO THE GAME and none of my friends bothered to tell me this when I told them I wasn’t able to make jumps like this, thank you sooooooooo much
It's completly counter intuitive to me. You run, then jump. In fromland I guess you airwalk too. Didn't know I was playing a Tony hawks pro skater game. I'd love a QoL mod that does not auto unequip your lantern upon warping/death and changes the long jump input to run, release then hit jump. Just more natural feeling as a button input.

How is this such a big deal? Is it all people who've never played video games before? How is it not completely obvious that you shouldn't stop running before jumping (ie letting go of the run button) when making a running jump??? People blow my mind sometimes...

I got so tired of trying to make a jump that almost everyone made to get the bolt in the capital and I didn’t even got close, that I was searching for mods to jump higher or something, searching for the mod I find this… after I uninstalled Elden ring to install just the jump mod since it wasn’t merging correctly with other mods
I stripped down to absolutely nothing and still didn’t manage that academy jump you showed in the video. I’m excited to try it tomorrow. But thanks in advance!
What the hell from. I love your games but why do finicky stuff like this when missing a jump means instant death. Hoping this is the fix I needed to get through the but I'm on in Shadow of the erdtree. Submerged church area. I guess finicky is the wrong word; counter intuitive, and frankly more awkward as a button input than releasing o then hitting x.

Whatever your run button is on your console/PC, just don't let go it when you jump, keep holding it.
