Showing an improved bowl from Simple Centrifuge. Most of the photos were taken while the bowl was running. The red liquid is water with food dye, and the clear liquid is water.
I think the bowl is 8 inches. A double pass is not necessary if the feed rate is not to fast. I don't know the distance of the gap off the top of my head. The feed cone system has been improved even more. If you go to the simplecentrifuge web site they have some good info and photos.
Just a few minor questions, what diameter is the bowl? Does it remove any more goo if you do a double pass? What is the distance between the feed nozzles and the inside of the bowl? Ultimately would the feed nozzles become blocked by the goo thrown out to the outside of the bowl? Cheers
I know this video has been on here for a long time, but I was wondering where you had the plexiglass cover made for it? I need something exactly like it.
A local machine shop made the lid. If you get the plastic or lexan or what ever it is called most any mill operator could make a lid. Simplecentrifuge made a see through lid for their use, maybe they could make one for you.
Whilst I'm sure the system works great it wasn't really challenged was it.? What I mean is the oil that went in to machine didn't look very dirty to me and even when it was cleaned it didn't look much different. What I would like to see is a real challenge like some old diesel oil and see what it makes of that. Now if it can clean that up I'd be impressed.
that's really cool. I apreciate your demonstrations so that we're better informed before buying from simple
Clever man it makes so much sense - though a little harder to clean

fascinating development.
That's fantastic! Any issues with the bearings handling the extra mass from the extra volume of oil? Did you make this yourself?

He's cleaning down to low micron clean.
You can't see the contaminant at that level.
That's the whole point of using a centrifuge.
