If Frank James hadn’t made a particular video about INFJ, I wouldn’t be not here watching this one today. And I wouldn't have all the knowledge I have today. I never would have known what mbti is.
All his video really helped me during 1 year and still help. My life would be totally different.

FJ is an INFJ, but he's just a shade of the many variations of the INFJ. There's going to be some INFJs that have a stronger Fe, Ti or Se "shades" to them that will make them appear to be another type. All of these "shades" or subtypes will still have a strong preference for Ni which FJ seems to have.

MBTI, and by extension, Jung, are just the training wheels. It's time to take them off. Believe me, you'll be a wiser man because of it ;)
He is NOT an INFJ. Just check out the way he talks. I see ZERO of the passion of an INFJ, and the way his eyes looks away, wonders away, and smiles in between half sentences (do not get me wrong I love the guy his parody videos are hilarious) is the definite traits of an extrovert. He is an ENFJ. ENFJ and INFJ cognitive functions are the same just in different order. ENFJ is Fe Ni Se Ti while INFJ is Ni Fe Ti Se. Do not confuse the fact that you like Frank James (I definitely do) with him being an INFJ.

" Yes, it is true, but an INFJ can not have a strong enough Fe to make him talk like an extrovert. Never ever. MBTI cognitive functions are for a reason in that order, you can not just strengthen one or the other in a way that it changes your core. Also, an INFJ like Marty mentioned could never ever ask for money for psychological advices. You are plain wrong here sorry.

They're in the social media/public/as a public image and as a public figure; they must set what is right, avoid false information, impostors must stop because they're gonna make people follow wrong examples.
I'm an infj so i knew it by just looking in his eyes and hearing how he talks/delivers information is just not an infj. The aura is wrong.
I don't watch all of Frank James' stuff, particularly his longer content, but it has been lovely to watch him grow over the years. You and Frank are my fantasy husbands and both breath-takingly beautiful, inside and out. Always gotta put the video resolution down to 144 to concentrate for you both :P Such mesmerising, angelic, powerful pillars.

On one hand i get why so many want to know for sure and are discussing or debating o whatever about Frank's type but likeyou said.. in the grand scheme of things, what does it really matter? Love your videos and ideas, Marty!! We have very similar thinking patterns and ways of seeing things. The only thing I disagree with (wouldn't really say it's a disagreement more of a different way of seeing things I guess) is that I think you're investing a tad too much meaning to the typology. While it is definitely important and has helped me understand so much of myself, the letters or type don't make you you. It's not always quite as simple as "INFJs do this and enfjs do this ". I do see the point of the video though, and appreciate that you called William Garrison out for just trying to bring you down for no reason. Much love!

You are 100% right and the reason I do and say what I do is because 80% (80/20) of the MBTI channels on RUclips and the top creators are incorrect and have raped MBTI of its innocence and importance. I am going to do a video and explain it and it has taken me so long to figure it out and I will also explain that. Trust me when I say that I rally think you will enjoy it and I will read comment within the video.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I defitnely agree that most of the MBTI channels are incorrect and cause more harm than good in the long run. Then people try to fit themselves into super strict boxes in order to purposefully "relate" to what the channels tell them to. This is why I love your approach of "this is what I think". It's real and I think prevents that sort of mentality.
You can have Ni and Fe at the same time boo...one being first or second doesn't mean they arent both savior functions. You can do Ni as an Fe dom.
You see, here is where we might disagree to agree to disagree. Your words are not attached to a live event or action or person. So what you are saying is or might be true or wrong based on your words; subjective.
My video is a real person with a real story and a real 'live action' that is attached to an MBTI point. See how your comment, thank you for it, resembles more of what is going on with RUclips than what I am doing and saying? See that? Instead of who is not an INFJ, are there other MBTI-er RUclips channels of INFJs that can be recommended? Not being an INFJ, I don't know what to look for. Marty is a data point -- it would help me to observe a variety of INFJ speakers and triangulate for commonalities. Thank you.
That's the magic of this channel, it's highly infj to put others first when it comes down to consideration.

I watch Marty Glenn and am aware of some other INFJ vloggers (I think). All seem very different. Marty seems to attract a lot of INFJ viewers (hi!). I'm hopeful to get INFJs' INFJ picks, so I can try to match Marty and other INFJs and discern commonalities. INFJ Fakes videos are not helpful for that, but flipped INFJ Reals recommendations would be very helpful!
I am not sure how to help you. I think INFJ's are MUCH more rare than people think and I truly am doing my best to be me, in fact I will address this in my next video later today along with a few others I am doing. - Marty
Thank you Marty. Wow that's fast! My personal experience matches yours -- INFJs seem quite rare hence my struggle to figure out possible 'tells'. I hope if there's a way to weed out fake there's a way to validate real.

Great video! I can totally relate to the individual stuff vs. movie from the big picture. I have an ENFJ friend and he also helps people but not like me. In a way I couldn't care less about the individual and ready to drop him / her from my life if (s)he acts that way. ENFJs seem to get attached.
It's really true we'd never reference someone else's information? It hit me now because I never done it. Is it because of Ni wants US to get it? Never in my life since school I was willing to do anything only because others told me to. Never ever.
I just did the video on it. It is a subconscious knowledge that Ni will stop, it is what you and your life heart beat depends on and that will kill it. It is almost like you know it will kill you, as I do, so I do not read or look to other details or information. Make sense? TYWC - Marty
For the movie analagy, I think it's interesting. For me, I know I have reaaally high Fe, but Ni still overtakes it. Sometimes though I will rarely get higher Fe than Ni, which I think is a good example of how close my NI and Fe are that I could be mistaken for an enxj at some points, but 95% of my tests say infj. So, with the movie example, I usually do care about the characters more than you say, a relatable character is really important. For example: JRR Tolkien was an infj, and he wrote some complex character dynamics, because he cared about them. Fe is still our aux function, even if not our dominant. It doesn't mean we don't care, it just means that we put more value in the big picture. Though, as you say, I am good at predicting what will happen next in a movie. And I don't say my prediction unless I'm 100% sure, because I still entertain so many possibilites in my head I can never be entirely sure until it happens. For example, I watched the recent movie Prey (which you have probably seen ads for). Now, the ending was so easy to figure out, it's just an action movie, so it doesn't set up red herrings to deter you or hit you with a sudden downer ending. Because action movies are meant to make you feel empowered, I get that. There was a sequence with an ant, and it gotten eaten by a mouse. And then the camera began panninng to the side, and I said "the mouse is going to get eaten by something else", by factoring in the name of the movie, Prey. So it's theme was Predator vs Prey. And sure enough, the camera panned to a snake which ate it. Then, suddenly, I said "the snake is going to get eaten". Unfortunately I was too specific, the snake was only killed, because it was by the Predator (a monster in the movie), who doesn't eat its prey. But I was close enough, considering

How does setting solid boundaries from the hate I receive fuel my ego? Setting boundaries protect self / ego from being lowered and do not increase them. Solid boundaries keep self and ego protected which is as I just said a non movement. You actually think this channel or how I present myself is an ego or self esteem booster.
I do not devalue anybody. Telling someone off by using vulgar language is nothing more than trash talking; it is not a devalue tactic. But you supporting a person with your comment who did devalue me, you can read the comment above, is shining a light on your motivation for your comment.

I made a similar read during last year's Super Bowl with respect to 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan on a third down play call.
I believe it was the end of the first quarter, or early second quarter he called a pass on 3rd and short even tho his offense had a strong running game throughout the season. You could just tell that he obviously had no confidence in that play call as well as no confidence in the run game in that series.
The 49ers were winning the game, but he was already questioning himself in the first half of a Super Bowl in which his team still had the lead.
The 49ers continued to play well throughout the game, but I knew eventually shanahan would figure out a way to lose.

As I believe mbti was designed to type neurotypicals, many with autism could be mistyped due to more rigid thinking, patterns or opinions. Also your opinion on ISFP/INFP who are not liberal progressives, but have conservative traditional values and are into classic aesthetics in art, film, and music. This would describe me as a conservative ISFP. In other words, people that don't fit the stereotypes of their "type". God bless!
Yes. I think what you are saying is very true and I think only over time would you be able to see MBTI and Functions, not behavioral, alongside Autism for an accurate reflection of one's self. It is certainly worth the effort. See my point? I think your thought process is correct but only time and an accurate accumulation of life actions would you be able to say for certain.

Marty, check out this Freudian slip from Frank. He has a video with something like this title: "Are you an introvert or a depressed failure of an extrovert?" He kind of knows he is ENFJ. Also, what Frank does on RUclips is the online equivalent of what Oprah Winfrey (ENFJ) is doing.

And she's mistyped as an infj. I look at some of frank James vids and though very entertaining but I feel he's not an infj either Or at least the clone that they've replaced him with. The first videos he had done before he seemed very much so an infj (the vids when he had longer hair) but I see the difference like night and day.

When you do videos and you are paid it is very hard at that very foundation to be INFJ. Compare Frank and others and most in the MBTI community and the differences are very clear. Does not make me an INFJ... 100% NO! Does it make them NOT INFJ... 100% NO!
But it is very hard to tell what someone is when they care more about subscribers or the channel they operate than their own message or what they are doing. If you look at my videos and comments and just how my channel operates, there is a clear difference and maybe that difference is what should be typed or looked into. TYWC - Marty
