Efren and Django simply the best dynamic duo in the Philippines 🇵🇭.They're the Beasts of the East.The Germans are also one of the best teams.They're also great champions so I also give my respect to them😊
I met Ralf recently in Buchurest Romania aswell as Hohman, he slept in the same hotel, Ralf is such a gentleman and realy good person. He needed to hug him at the end! Such a guy! Great match btw!
That moment when Efren pocketed the last nine and started shaking like Shakira. Priceless.
You could see the emotions affecting his game some during that final game as well. No doubt it was a strange kind of pressure he was feeling that day to be part of the first team ever to repeat as World Cup champs, in front of the home folks to boot. What a neat reminder it was that Efren is truly human after all... and a great, great champion.

Yeah Reyes really look uncomfortable in this match, Django was in superb form no wonder he won the 9 ball world championship in the next year..
Django always and has been a great player. As per my belief it all started it with King Jose Parica then carried on by Magician Beta and continued by Django. Only problem is Efren is so good that he out shadowed him due to his creative dynamic play.
I would agree.... but remember back in 2006, it was Efren's incredible play and about 4 different mind boggling, game saving, shots that won their first world title. But Busty was very good in 2006 as well, just Efren was.... well Efren. 🐐
I think Age is Chasing Efren =( But still Good job of Bustamante staying Calm.

What happened to Efren and Carlo this last World Cup? I didn't see them play...
The new tables are much harder to play. Many of the old timers were left behind.

I don't know who is announcing this but my god is he biased. The Germans were apparently lucky on every shot BOTH teams made. It was getting pretty tiresome, and I was FOR the Filipinos.
Then Efren flubs the side shot, by a lot, and rolls up behind a ball two rails later, and it's a 'protection shot'...give me a break. Efren was not remotely trying to go there, because he would have had no shot if he'd made the shot in the side. And oh look, "The Germans have been very fortunate" on the next shot. What a moron. And how is DIRECTLY missing a shot bad luck?
Geez, Busty was playing at about 150%, some of those shots were pretty much other worldly, until a couple at the end. Efren really doesn't look like Efren, to misses on shots he would virtually never miss, AND then the end. Man what a great match, with some absolutely super safety play. Tons of fun to watch. And even the announcer calmed down at the end with the nonsense.
I was amazed at the pressure Efren was displaying in a couple of his last few shots, but they were bang on.
They were from the Philippines and thats why.
