Keep watching Ernie, I am a very good player, a 7 in league play. Been playing my whole life but never did make it to that next level that these guys play on. . . But I promise you that I have learned a ton this year just from watching the pro's play, Especially Efrin. I was a fast and loose player, Efrin has taught me that maybe that's not my game and to slow things down, or that shot I always had problems getting position on wasn't my English or speed, it was my stroke and follow through. I am almost 50 and still learning this game that I love.
@@andrewwood9067 I’m a 6 in league play (8 and 9) and I feel like I have so much to learn. Been playing for about a year and a half now, so despite being a good shot maker, I still can’t win every game. My biggest issue right now is getting to the table hooked, I only actually hit my hall about 40 percent, and almost never get safe after hitting my ball. For that reason, often my opponents just play safe and that’s how I lose. If I get to the table with a shot, I’ll almost always run out with 6 balls or less, but I don’t get those chances much. These pro matches are showing me the importance of being able to get yourself out and I honestly think that’s the biggest thing I can do to improve at this point

I was kind of stunned that they made no comment whatsoever about that one ball that Efren cut to the corner pocket after Shaw tried to play the safe after the break in rack 7. Efren made the tough cut it about a hundred miles an hour to get on the two and got out, audio might've had a problem because it was just dead silence. I don't know if they were stunned but certainly it was a quality shot that seemed to go unnoticed!
