    The Probook 450 G9 is available with 250 and 400 nits screen options. At least in my region, the 400 nits version is not available neither from third-party retailers nor HP directly. The 250 nits version is going to be dim no matter what you do.

    My sister had slammed my computer hard but not in a hard hard way, it has been dim ever since and I’m only able to see if I shine a light on it, do you think it might be the lcd?

    The screen is so much dim I really can't do anything without flashing a flash light on the screen on a specific spot . What should I do??

    But if the dim display still occurred after performed all these steps then you have to replace new LCD Panel.

    I have a problem related to the screen, when I open more than one page and minimize one of them, the rest of the pages appear in a dark screen, or even if I want to work on two pages at the same time and I divide the screen, one appears in its natural colors and the other appears dark until I click on it and so on, so what is its solution?

    I have ips display on my ho elite book core5 gen8th and i was using RUclips suddenly turn blurry and seems cloudy. Disiplay is dim and if i see from side it's fully blurry. When i turn on the pc for a second it shows real display with maximum light and resolution then again its blurry ehat should i do now???😢😢😢😢😢😢 Please help me.

    I have followed every single instruction in this video but none of them have solved the issue at hand and it makes me wonder if you guys know how to solve anything
    The issue at hand is that my laptop screen is so dim that at first it seems nothing is running but when you hold up a flashlight you find out that it is actually running .Also when you connect the laptop to the TV the screen gets displayed there. This all started when my laptop shutdown on its own and i'm guessing it was due to low battery so when I tried charging it and turning it on the madness began. I am not saying the shutdown most likely cause it but the coincidence is too obvious not too be considered. Send me a good link to solve it not some bullshit to make people think it has been solved.

    Nothing works for me, my screen is so dim that I can see something only with a flashlight. Connecting it to the TV thru HDMI the tv screen is fine. brightness control doesn't do anything, it's on the brightest and still I can't see much. The screen works good with another motherboard.

      @@HPSupport shows you are a robot with templated answers. Laptop is good for nothing now. Battery dead doesn't hold even for 4min. Screen is dimmed so that we need to keep the room dark. Every remedy tried including reset. Just HP laptop sucks

      Go into Windows Control Panel>>Power Options>>Power Management, Select adjust plan brightness, Use the slider and increase until the end. Click save changes. Or use Fn key + F10 Key to increase the brightness.
