When you have a tiny space like this this little breakfast bar style thing would be perfect! Please post where this was purchased. Alternative would be sitting on the couch so either spill when sitting on couch or when sitting at island. Or just be careful not to spill.

I 'm a bit concern that dining area can cause trouble for the sofa, if anything spills or splatters. But I'm ok with the design.
Exactly what I was thinking. Even spaghetti could splash it but, it is a rather nice layout.
Maybe we can put like a short "backsplash" looking stuff. Idk.
Put a spill proof protection over the couch, sofa or what ever is going to be there beside it.
I've never seen food splash outside a plate let alone in a projectile to land that far out from the plate. We are talking adult dining here.
