Is this really a high school production? A fantastic opening - excellent orchestra, choreography, costumes, acting and singing. Well done to everyone involved in this 'better than professional' production!
I always look to see what Summit High School has done, since seeing their production of The Producers. They put on about as high a quality production that a high school can do, and they aren’t even a school for the arts. They must have an incredible musical and drama director. The band is also very good year after year. Students graduate yet the quality is always high. That spells excellence in teaching.
This is NOT a High School production: It MUST Be a Road-show company just off of Broadway. Seriously, given what I see here---these kids could take on the Great White Way anytime!
I remember when our High School did this. I was one of the chorus daughters. We had so few sons (we had a lot of the males playing the dads) that some of guys singing the Papa's part had to join in with the sons. I like the choreography better in here than what we had.

The young man playing Tevya is incredibly impressive, as are the best of the cast....and the orchestra...so good!

we "built" the beards customized for each actor. Very time consuming, but fun and so worth it!
