Y'all's chicken salad 🥗 sounds delicious. Always a quick And easy meal is a great idea.. Thanks for sharing..The total of your grocery hall was a good deal, much much more cost effective than going out to eat,and you get to relax at home while eating a good meal..

That’s it that’s fanstatic wish we had that store here 😏🤗
Me too :(
Yes, definitely put a piece of paper towel in the lettuce. It does help keep it fresh.
Love this tip!!!
Girl…that salad looks YUMMY!! I learned from my mama to put a paper towel in with the leftover salad and it will keep it fresh longer. God bless! ❤
Hey, that’s a great tip from your mama. Thanks for sharing!!! And it was so so good!!!!
Make cooking videos or what you all eat throughout the week
Thank you for sharing!!
Would love to! All in one video? Or space it out?
@@GypsyWifeLife whichever fits your schedule. Thank you
Great video you did real good on the haul, I’ll need to do that with the salad kit too to keep from getting soggy by mixing all at once. You can take raw chicken like thighs or cut up breasts pit in a bowl then drizzle olive oil over top sprinkle some ranch dry seasoning the some diced garlic like what comes in the small jar. Rub it all over good then pop in air fryer it’s so good. Plus if you look up crock pot rotisserie chicken, there is a simple rub you can make and add around 1/2 cup broth then you have a really good chicken base you can use a few days in salad or casseroles or just eat plain it’s delicious 😊
Hah i used to mix it all and just eat it soggy later that day or the next day, and even though it wasnt too bad- it's much better fresher. I just recently started doing it, and im so happy i have, i can make it stretch for a few meals! And oh my goodness that sounds DELICIOUS! I've been wanting to buy some ranch dry seasoning to use on different things, i watch cooking videos alot and see people using that stuff! I've only ever used it on the Mississippi roast- but id like to try it how you said!! Ohh sounds so good! :) Crock Pot Rotisserie Chicken sounds good too!! I bet it would be good in a chicken pot pie! :) :) Thanks girl!!!
Yummy that looks delicious 😋
Thank you 😋

Hello Cookie 💖
Meowwwwwwww :)
Do you like the HCF water? I have been getting the Nestle Pure Life, but it is definitely more expensive. Thank you for the salad trick!
Yes! The HEB Walmart is good and Walmart too lol we always buy off brand- with water. It’s always too pricey!
I am so impressed by your economy. Living on a very tight budget myself and appreciate your tips. My air fryer also takes more time but it's rather a Mickey mouse one
Same girl same...... :) And a Mickey Mouse Air Fryer!? That sounds so cute!!!
@@GypsyWifeLife 🤣🤣😆it's actually just an expression that is used for something that is small and basic, dunno about cute.

I have always admired how you have mastered shopping for two. My husband and I seem to waste a lot. 🫤❤
Just gotta be super mindful girl. We have made many mistakes in the past, over-buying, or buying things we never ended up finishing and it going to waste, so now we are super particular about what we buy anymore. Buy things to cook- that you know you are both going to eat- make enough for left overs- so you can have for lunch the next day, or even dinner (saves time/money) and especially if you are tired and dont feel like cooking- hah such a great feeling "oh yay we have left overs!" hah :) We also make the grocery list together, i think that helps also, i sit down and make the list and ask for meal's he would like this week- and also what snacks would you like... etc (and then i have my own of course) and even when we are grocery shopping-- we are both very mindful "Do i really want this?" "Do i really need this?" Yes/No/Not Really/ Ahh let's put it back! lol next time you are planning to go grocery shopping- talk with your hubby, have him pick out at least 3 meals he would like- write down whatever you need for those meals (we try to keep it simple too...) like example 1) Steak, Garlic Butter Noodles, Vegetable 2) Chicken Kabobs, Basmati Rice + Vegetable 3) Hamburger Patties w/ Cheese, Garlic Butter Noodles + Vegetable (if you keep it simple, it cost less... most ingredients like seasonings & stuff you probably already have.. so get your meat + sides, and you are good to go! :) Always have something in mind that you are going for, and STICK WITH YOUR LIST!!!! It's when you start looking "OUTSIDE" of your list that you mess uppppp :) for me anyway haha
p.s. i come from a big family, and we always made sure to cook "more than enough" because you never knew who was gonna eat, or who would stop by to visit, so when i FIRST got married- i was still stuck on that, and it was kinda hard to learn to just cook for two, but i think after 10 years of marriage, i got it! :)
@@GypsyWifeLife Thanks!!!
