In Larry's defense, Ricky was just dribbling and it was taking too long to get to the point. Personally, I hate that. I was at a seminar last week via Zoom and the presenter kept dribbling and the deviations would go nowhere so I ultimately left.
All 3 punches by Ricky lands perfectly: 1. love the laugh track, it reminds you when to laugh 2. you never heard of it? you dont know everything , do you? 3. One person feels its affected, thousand people let down.
Around this time RG managed to get his DVDs into every appearance he did hahaha. Comic relief sketches, Curb, his first golden globes appearance, emmys appearance.
I'm only up to season 5 in Curb. I need to binge it to see Ricky. Larry and Ricky are the kings of British and American humour. This is the cross over we dont deserve.
"Well it doesn't mean it's odd cause you've never heard of it. I mean you don't know everything do you?" This whole bit is just sparkling with funny. Love it!
this is how ricky acts now lol, also cant help but agree with him about laugh tracks which i suppose even larry agrees with since he allowed that line in curb.
Man, I bet the bloopers with these two are funny as hell. Ricky is known for laughing too much & corpsing or whatever it is, & Larry is always the first one to break in his cast.
Except it wasn't a laugh track, it was a real audience. If I ever meet Ricky I'd say his hosting of the Golden Globe awards was ruined by the laugh track. And EPL football games are ruined by the crowd track reminding me when to cheer.
@@Tmanaz480 See that's funny cause neither the GGs or the EPL have 'laugh tracks' in them, the games literally have a crowd of thousands watching it right there - as did the GGs 😂
@Nathaniel Smith Who watched the award show? They got this thing called youtube you can just watch Ricky destroy the whole room and skip the other 4 hours of nonsense.
I am completely convinced this is the absolute maximum possible amount of passive-aggression one can squeeze into two minutes
You don't understand what passive aggressive means then. Both are being extremely direct and upfront, including suzy for that matter
That’s cuz you haven’t met my brother

I love the not so subtle jabs between Larry and Ricky
"It's not like tv"
The comment on the laugh tracks. Lol.

"ah, it's not that important" comedy gold
Totally!! 🤣🤣
Yes, also because one gets the feeling that "Gervais" is just repeating an analysis of the play that someone else has come up with, trying to be deep.
so much undermining. so good!
Imagine Larry in Extras...
Arttuu97 they’re kinda doing it here
“It’s odd to just show up with your own DVD.” Genius meta product placement.
Around this time RG managed to get his DVDs into every appearance he did hahaha. Comic relief sketches, Curb, his first golden globes appearance, emmys appearance.
“Ehh, alright, it’s not that important.” That is hysterical. Like dismissing the Civil War or the Holocaust. Larry cracks me up.
😂
Did you just compare what I assume is the American civil war to the holocaust? Wtf
I love Larry. He says out loud what everyone is thinking lol ...
"All right, it's not that important" - classic Larry David.

Totally agree!
Two of the greatest experts in awkward humour together.
The dynamic is brilliant
This episode was divinely written.
Definitely one of Susie's best outfits.
I love how Larry breaks the hypocrite politeness, daring to question unwritten social laws. This show is a revolution!
They are perfect together.
I think Ricky really holds his own in this scene. Proud of him.

Great scene
Ricky looks so slim in this clip.
It's the black t-shirt.
Everyone looks slim in America
He had to shed some weight for his role in Mr Simmington.
Two legends, clashing!
Larry is amazing the way he dominates every conversation he has ever been in
It's called being the director.
These are two of a kind both geniuses
This is comedy genius to be fair.. laughed all tge way thru..

I'm from the UK/BRITAIN & Love the way that Larry David is Bored by the British Play Explanation!.
Italian bread goes w every meal.
I love when people try to challenge Larry. He always manages to come out on top
It was funny to see Ricky be on the receiving end of ball busting since he’s usually the aggressor lol.

Ricky and Larry are an even match
You were right about the bread, Simington... It is hard.
Larry did an excellent job portraying Ricky exactly as he is in real life
