    Can you please please make a series on making different types of graphs. Line, pie, different types of bar graphs. There are SO many ways graphs could be created and if I trust anyone to be capable of making them, it's you. Absolutely looking forward to more graphs in the future

      Thanks for the suggestion! I'm thinking of doing a line chart tutorial. I quickly created a line graph for Johnny Harris' Ukraine video that I was really happy with, and I want to share that workflow. Maybe in the future I can have a whole infographics course or something. 🔥

    TIP: Add this little expression to the End Point of the Gradient Stroke to set the gradient no matter the amount (short bar's also get the full gradient as shown in the example bar graph)
    x = 0
    y = 960 - (effect("Amount")("Slider")/1)*9.6;
    [x, y]

      LEGEND!! I actually spent several hours trying to figure out how to include this in the tutorial, but couldn’t crack this little expression. Brilliant. For real thank you so much for sharing.

    Is there a code which can be used to put value (numbers) above graphs which could rise when graphs are rising?

    Really good video Boone!
    I like to do my graphs with a rectangle shape which I scale on one axis instead of trim paths. That way I can add a bit of overshoot when I animate them in.
    Quick question, what’s the benefit of adding a second trim path. Why not just connect the first trim path to the slider control? Thanks.

    • @BooneLovesVideo
      @BooneLovesVideo  2 года назад +1

      Thanks, Simon! I enjoyed looking at your project file to see how you did it. Very cool.
      So the first trim path animates the bar graph, and the second is for putting in the amount. If you didn't have that second trim paths, you'd have to make sure that your playhead is over the second keyframe every time you change the amount. Or you'd have to put some expression in there to read the second keyframe, but that gets too complex.
