Happy New Year Folks! I used to have a export Radio, it was am/fm/side band/ skip/ ham, had a booster also, out of my Pickup truck parked by the Bay, I spoke to Australia, Japan, to name a few. miss that radio.
Happy new year Ian and Chris and all the crew 🎉 I was heavily into CB radio in the 90s we used to push power mate. An oldschool friend of mine upset the army 🪖 and police pushed power on an Antron 99 and the burner blew out local TVs all around the neighborhood lol he went to court in the end and got a huge fine. Crazy times! Fox hunts were fun back then and I love the skip in the summer you could talk all over the world 🌎 signal bouncing off the clouds. Look forward to the turntable video and all the explores for 2024. Nice one mate

Best wishes, I love bunkers and your videos, I would like one, here in Italy we have a group of truck drivers who transmit with over 5KW with crazy amplifiers on the out-of-band channel 45 (27.465 MHz) they are heard throughout the continent and beyond without propagation, one of the best fixed base antennas on the market is the Grazioli G-max but only for professionals and true enthusiasts, however many are curious and are returning to the CB, we have a very expert retired technician who has a RUclips channel, he repairs and processes any CB they ship from all over Europe, his name is Framich, he doesn't speak English but he translates it if you write to him. Happy 2024

happy new year amstrad used to be the best cb s going used to be on it years ago
looks like the wel known Cybernet cb radio's...22channel 0.5 watt or 40 channel 2 or 4 watts (these are legal in my country, Netherlands)...you can do some very nice rebuild with these cb's... I have a brand called cuna, a 22channel 0.5 watt version. it was laying around for ages on the shelf. Dit some mods on it and now it's on10 meter (ham) band (got a ham lincence) did this with a si5351 and a arduino nano and a small display..my pots also had crackle noise. replaced the volume /squelch pot with a new ones

Ahh the good old CB, One Nine Rodger, I spent many hours in the late 90s pissing truck drivers and CB enthusiasts off with wrong etiquette and general Tom foolery 😂, back when life was easy and we didn’t have these woke 🔔🔚’s getting offended by literally everything they don’t agree with!! Good times
