That is a very unique perspective... It's almost as though Orthodox Christians have already reached the point that other people claim they want to achieve: where sexuality and self-identifying are irrelevant... fascinating. Thank you very much.

People must learn from the life of Father Seraphim Rose, how he was an open homosexual, in a committed gay relationship, and how he turned to Christ and was healed

what does "committed relationship" mean? What are the sources, his relatives?

How do you know he was healed? Did he find a wife?

Thank you for sharing that. I needed clarification. Orthodox Christianity is a completely different faith than Protestantism. I was baptized in a Wesleyan church. I am grateful for that, but I have been searching for real Christian truth for years because there were some things I was really struggling to understand. I started using the hysechasm prayer to hear God and see him. He has led me here and I am so grateful to find orthodox truth.

I must be needing bed soon because I listened to this twice and couldn’t quite get what he was saying, can someone explain very simply to me what this nice man said? Thanks

I agree. Pretty much gibberish as far as I'm concerned. Very sincerely held beliefs, but made zero sense to me.

You can suffer with same sex attraction, yes, but you must repent and carry your cross.
Sin cannot define you, Christ does (if you are a Christian).

Take the scales of Good and Evil off your eyes brother, and see! Then you can be reconciled with the father. Are you up to the standards you're judging the world with? Jesus Will judge you by that measure. That's called grace. Jesus Cuts Hypocrites in half and throws them into the fire. That's called justice. This is the knowledge of the truth: that the knowledge of Good and Evil is death. Not life. Therefore repent or you're not going to eat from the Tree of Life

@@dansaber4427 If I was a raging violent alcoholic and claim to be a good Christian, that would be considered contradictory by virtually everyone. Thus, claiming to be a good Christian without any intention or effort to control the sinful urges is dishonest at best and downright manipulatory at worst.
