Isagi metavision design is different bc he’s the MC.. , the author wouldn’t make different metavision design bc in the long run it will confuse people, so this is clearly another vision ability that has to do with Charles passes.. just like how predator eye is solely for shooting, this ability from Charles is solely for his passes..
Also based on shidou and Charles responds to each-other in the chapter( during the goal) its clear that they both didn’t expect each-other.. Shidou didn’t expect the pass to come to him and Charles didn’t expect someone to react to his pass.. It clear that Charles passes to where he sees the best pass course and that the reason for this new vision, while Shidou was the only one who reacted to it, which makes it very unpredictable aswell..

I’m pretty sure Charles has a new vision/eye, when we partially seen his eye it did look like it was the same as the eye he showed in this chapter(I could be wrong), but when he shot this pass he seemed to find the best place to score on the field which he passed too, I might wrong but it’s be really cool if I’m not, I think it’d make sense to why they were able to copy IsagixHiori’s chemical reaction so easily

I dont think thats his general personality but for a moment he possessed shidous ego. I wont be surprised if he inhabits rins persona when he assists him
Maybe the eyes we see for charles aren't even metavision eyes or atleast not as we know them rn. Maybe it's like predator eye but for passing. I only say this because that pass was insane, perfectly between two people and just barely over rin's head and perfect for shidou.

I'm thinking it's definitely meta vision. The eye patterns I think just reflects the user's playstyle/way they developed the skill.
