All the ones I've fixed , 986 (82), 766 (78) have the leak out the bottom end where the wide seal is inside the case. But I always do the top end to while I have it all apart. Thanks brother

It took me about an hour if say. The bolts are quarter 28. Clean the holes as much as possible then if I had one I would have used a steering wheel puller... But I was field working lol good luck 👍 let us know what you figure out.
That was pretty painful to watch maybe shorten your videos to the 5 seconds you actually did something

What was the part number for your seal kit?
I have an old IH 544, trying to get the steering wheel off, no luck. I tried putting a bolt in those holes but I think it just stripped them out.
