- Relive the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway that aired on FS1. This race saw Ross Chastain make early contact with Brennan Poole, taking out Kyle Larson. Kyle Busch was the pole sitter but had a pit road speeding penally early in the going ruining his chances but in the end it was Chastain battling it out with Martin Truex Jr. for the win.

Dover's an incredible track - I feel like it's underrated
I'm glad the race came down to Truex and Chastain, the 2 best cars for the majority of the race (both showed plenty of speed while Byron was leading). Much deserved win for the 19!

I really hope the fans put Marcus Smith and SMI as a whole on notice today. We showed up big for a Monday race. The race was fantastic. This track deserves to stay and deserves to stay for a long time.

Right i was suprised at the decent turnout, i thought less would show up, i didnt drive up cause of the weather, and all week i heard drivers on iracing saying they werent going cause of the rain.

Larson and Poole got Chastained!!! He claims to never mean to wreck people yet he continually does it. At what point will he learn from his mistakes? He is overly aggressive when he doesn't need to be.

That's interesting. I'm not so sure if that's the 4 team has declined or other teams have just gotten better. They are more than 10 races into the season now, some teams and drivers might be just starting to step it up .

Every car on the track handles differently. Where they come off the throttle and apply the brakes varies from 1 car to another based on setup, handling and driving style. No 2 drivers run the track the same.
It seems like every time a race gets delayed your team at RUclips drops the ball and you don't post the full race. What's with that? How about posting the entire race instead of just highlights?

Not sure how Larson is not penalized under NASCAR’s rules against not affect the outcome of a race.
Gibbs did the exact same thing, if anything Chastain should be penalized for wrecking Poole
You're assuming that Chastain was guaranteed to pass Truex.... Had Chastain been the leader and Larson's actions allowed Truex to pass him, you'd have an argument, but that wasn't the case. There's zero proof that Larson actually affected the outcome of the race because Chastain was in second place and Truex was leading. If NASCAR penalizes Larson, it would only serve as proof that NASCAR is trying to rig races.

It being postponed until today, a Monday, had a lot to do with all the empty seats.

The overall race lengths really haven't changed much over the years. The cars have just gotten faster. The only thing that's really changed is the BS amateur "stage racing"
