Gay Men's Chorus Demands Investigation After Recording Played at MLB Game

- The San Diego Padres have apologized to the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus after a pre-game blunder. The chorus was singing the national anthem Saturday on the field during "Pride Night" when a prerecorded voice of a woman was heard over the loudspeakers. They are demanding a further investigation as to what happened. Chorus members Bob Lehman and Dan England spoke to Inside Edition. Lehman said: "The woman's voice came on and a dread came over me, I didn't know what do to. Do I sing? Do I not sing?" #InsideEdition
It was either a horrible joke, or a terrible mistake...but a hilarious one.
As someone who sang for a choir for 7 years, we've had "technical" errors like this before, but we simply laugh it off in the end.

Being that a heterosexual man can go to any place and potentially find a partner can make it really inconvenient for homosexuals, like these fantastic singers, to do the same. I think it's wonderful that they let the gay men sing. It shows how America really IS the land of the free (Gay people singing) and home of the brave! (Gay people having the courage to go out and be themselves). Well done. ^^

The real question is why is there a recording of the national anthem.
As someone who Is in drama/theater specifically tech(or stage crew), this happens alot , during one of our productions (luckily this was during our dress rehearsal) the sound crew had mixed up one of the sound effects and two of them were out of order so instead of light HAPPY music we got thunder and rock music XD
The San Diego Gay Men's Chorus did a pretty good rendition of the Star Spangled Banner last year. Too bad something went wrong this year. Is there also a San Diego Lesbian Ladies' Chorus? I'm sure a lot of RUclips viewers would also like to hear them sing.
