What perfect timing, my TH8a just died, im in process of building a cheap microswitch based unit to get me working again, but i just bought the hardware kit for this and cant wait to build it Great work
Awesome job mate.. truly your work is very nice and your passion for this too. Thank u and the previous Patreon guys too . I'll be looking into this. Massive accomplishment 💪🏁🏎️
This is truly fantastic work! Hats off to you for all the details you've considered. I'm very curious why the bigger Sim channels have not built an reviewed this. Maybe they're too busy to build one of these? Either way, it would be great to get more in-depth reviews of this as I'm super curious how this feels. My main concern is the feeling of the metal on plastic when shifting.
@@LeboisRacing Hi Lebois, truly a great gearbox for sim racing. But I cannot fit it with my setup as it is way too bulky. Any chance that future version can be scaled down to allow more people to enjoy it?? Thanks a lot!~ 🤩
@@LeboisRacinghi Lebois, btw I heard someone said that the additional analog stick does not work in previous software version. May I ask has it been resolved? Thanks a lot?
After spending half an hour checking through links and videos, I still cannot see how it gets information if the clutch is pressed or not, is it getting information from software, from the game, or from the clutch pedal driver, or from the position of the clutch pedal itself ?
it can be inversed like with the lever at the front. If you want to keep the same orientation but with the lever at your left, you need to use a mirror feature on cura
Very interesting. How does it compare to the NSH version of your design? And how does the gear engagement and feel compare to the shifters from BDH and Pro Sim?
Have you thought about selling hardware kits? If you could get the funds to make this in metal and provide completed gearboxes you would have a product that would do really well in the sim racing market
I'm building this. Total cost has been around AU $400 including the kit and bulk packs of screws from Ali Express, 2x spools of printer filament, as well as the parts for the eClutch and Joystick mods. So in USD a rough guess I would say is around $220 - unless you don't already own or have access to a 3D printer. I'm using my brother's printer and I've been surprised how many projects I've come up with using it for. It's far more useful to me than I ever thought it would be so much actually be a good investment.
@@LeboisRacing Does yours have a system to prevent the gears from going in if the clutch is not pressed for example or to slide it into reverse while driving ?
@@bikerboy3k this is the elcutch system : you need to press clutch pedal to change gears. To go in reverse, you need to press the lever down, and go in 6th, you won't mistake
So thankfull for your tinkering, i am currently in the process of building
your SRT-80 motion-actuators for VR flightsims.
I've been looking for a reason to buy a 3d printer. I have found my reason. Amazing work designing this.
How’s it going?

❤❤❤ WOW it reminds me of a Hybrid Shifter - it makes for perfect balance shifting, sounds awesome too.
man that is a masterpiece, well done, congratulations to you and everyone involved in this project
Such a sick project. Can't wait till I can build one when I get a 3D printer

This is unbelievable! Astounding work.
This is amazing work. I love seeing these new H-pattern shifter include the gear lock mech with active clutch👌
I found your project an hour ago and got sick on this gearbox, I have to have it!
Then go for it :-)
@@LeboisRacing Could you say what the dimension of the largest part is? I don't know I can print version 9.1 on my ender 3 pro

hello, which size of gear head can I install on my gearbox?
Very interesting. How does it compare to the NSH version of your design? And how does the gear engagement and feel compare to the shifters from BDH and Pro Sim?
Similar to NSH. I think it is a little bit different from other brands because you have more possibilities
Hello. Which size/model monitor screen are you using on this rig?
32" acer predator

Hi, how much would it cost to make this type of gearbox? Why don't you sell the finished product directly?🙏🙏

Is the clutch lockout feature considered the “e clutch mod”?
Yep
In english we call it the Centre console
i have the v9 are there any new parts i have to buy to build this or can i just 3d print the new parts and build it
Check this : lebois-racing.com/new-srt-v9-1-gearbox/

it would be a really nice gear box if it was machined out of metal.
so much expensive...
Which is why the big boys gear boxes cost as much as they do.
Bash pro shifter looks much smaller and more realistic.
Smaller yes. More realistic no.
