KEXP has been a great source of music discovery for me. Sure, there's a lot of stuff I don't like but the hit ratio is great. And many performances sound better than original album versions.
KEXP are the single best source of new music for me. I would never have gone down the Anatolian Rock and Cumbia rabbit holes if it weren't for KEXP introducing me to it via Altin Gun and Los Bitchos. It's amazing to me that the west is slowly waking up to these genres that were hidden from us.

Thanks for sharing! I love the recent trend for Anatolian rock revival which ecompasses the world, from the Levant itself to such geografically distant bands as King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. The cultural exploration and fusion move the world peacefully forward.
