- I just got back from 5 days of dirt bike riding in British Columbia with the @TractioneRag gang at their Big Rock Candy Mountain event. This week was a true test of my endurance and skill as we tackled the toughest and most beautiful singletrack I've ever seen as well as some desert terrain, multiple gnarly hill climbs, and a full day crushing miles on dual sports. @spitescorner and I were pushed to the limits of our off road motorcycle riding skills and somehow survived, thanks in no small part to the amazing support from the Traction eRag crew and the encouragement of the rest of the participants on the trip.

something I learned very quickly, and something I think the Dork knows as well. For us riders that are overweight, when the ride gets tough we let our brains tell us we are not capable of doing something because of our weight and that makes the ride 100 times harder than it needs to be. There has been many rides where I thought I was WAY in over my head. then it clicked that I was over reacting and I completed the ride a better man. Like Dork said towards the end "okay fine worth it"
I am looking forward to this series so much that I watched the trailer twice!

Just bought a 300L. I really like it. Wish it had more power. I’m an old big dude with many injuries. It is a soft ride so no faster than I go these days so far I like the suspension. Kinda spunky throttle and lite. Anyway. Thanks for the video bud

You're returning for one of the adv-type-training-events at the end of Aug too? I wonder if starting each day with skills training will be more or less tiring than starting with trail riding? Or perhaps the training week will intentionally be easier terrain for afternoon rides because of so many people coming from pavement? Can't wait to see!
