After you set the time and current day, press program twice, keep hitting the day button until it shows all 7 days all at the same time (press about 10 times). Then hit the hour and minute buttons for the desired ON time. Press program once, and hit the hour/minute buttons for the desired OFF time. Press the 2nd left button (circle button on the left) for it to save. Make sure it’s on OFF AUTO when done…….To check what you just programmed, press program 2x --- this will show you all the days at the same time and you can see the time you set for ON. Then press program once and you will see all the days at the same time for the time you set for OFF.

Yes, thank you soooo much !! It was better than the instruction sheet and video. I set it in less 1 min! Why do they make things so difficult!😩

Here is a manual I made for myself. I will share it in case it helps other people, but it may contain errors. Use at your own risk, but please add any corrections in the comments.
Small, recessed button in the center is RESET. It will clear EVERYTHING back to factory.
    SETTING THE CLOCK
Note: Best to set to standard time if you are doing this under DST. Then, when your programming is finished, you can press the Hour button for 3 sec. to go to DST. Write “Hour 3 sec. for DST” on the inside of the cover in sharpee if you think you’ll forget this by autumn and be tempted to relearn all of this.
Press Prog button until it says CLK. If it doesn’t say CLK, you will be setting the first program in relation to the default 12:00AM as the current time.
Press Day button until the current day appears on the screen.
Press Hour button until the current hour appears on the screen.
Press Min button until the current minute appears on the screen.
Press round ON/OFF button (either one OK) to save and go back to default screen.
    SETTING THE FIRST PROGRAM
After setting time, press Prog twice to set first program.
    Program first ON event time.
Press the day button. It will cycle Mon->Tues->Wed->Th->Fri->Sat->Sun->MTWTHF->SS->SMTWTHFS. Select SMTWTHFS if you just want it to come on every day at the same time.
Press the Hour, Day, and Min buttons to the time you want it to come on.
Press Prog to save the first ON event time.
Set OFF event time. Again, you need to press the day button until SMTWTHFS is shown, or it will only go off the day you programmed it and drive you crazy wondering why it didn’t go off the next day. Setting the ON event to all days does not automatically set the OFF event time to all days.
When finished, press the ON/OFF button (round, unmarked button left or right) to auto save.
During the programming process, you can delete a setting by pressing the CLR button.
    TO CHECK YOUR WORK
Press program 2x to display the programmed ON event time.
Press program again to display the programmed OFF event time.
If you close the cover and press now, it will toggle between ON man and OFF man. This is like having a simple switch installed and not what you want.
To change between AUTO and MAN modes, PRESS THE COVER for 4 seconds.
Now pressing the cover once cycles between these settings.
When OFF MAN is displayed, the device is off and will remain off.
When ON MAN is displayed, the device is on and will remain on.
When OFF AUTO is displayed, the device is off temporarily and will turn on with the next programmed event. If you're doing this during the daytime to come on that evening, this is what you want showing.
When ON AUTO is displayed, the device is on temporarily, and the next programmed event will either keep it on or turn it off.
For DST option, press and hold the HOUR button for 3 seconds.
To randomize the ON function, press and hold the MIN button for 3 seconds.

The instructions that came with this device were not very good. I found this video very helpful and much more instructive than what came with the device. I had to look at video several times to understand. This device is very easy to program when compared to devices that have dusk and dawn features. Some of the issues below were included as part of the video.😊

There are two buttons that have no labels to tell what they are. The instructions don't say what they're used for either. They are overly complicated to use because of very inadequate instructions.

Hello, those circle buttons lie right underneath the closing door. They are used to change the timer settings from ON/OFF or if you press and hold either button the timer will change between AUTO/MANUAL. If there is still some confusion please give us a call at (909)592-1881 between Monday-Friday from 9 am till 5 pm PST we would be more than happy to assist you.

I only have a black, white, and ground wired in the box will this switch work with that configuration at all?

  • @JamesDougal

As per the comments, very poor instructions. For a Single Pole / Single Light Switch that goes to outdoor lights, I only have a black hot wire and white neutral wire in the box. I can ground the the green wire to the box. That leaves the red load wire - what do I connect it to if the wall box only has two wires one hot, one neutral?

I’m on my 5th trial day trying to get this thing to work! Paper instructions worthless, videos seem ok but times set aren’t working. If it doesn’t work tonight, it’s being returned. Ridiculous there’s no backlight as well!! Rating 2.

The instructions that come with this switch are not good. I had an electrician install this switch and program it. He did not program it correctly. I made some changes to it so that it is now coming on as programmed, but does not turn off at the desired time. I'm not sure where to start to just change the "off" time. Is there a complete manual somewhere that explains all aspects of programming this switch?

The instructions that come with the timer is horrible and incomplete. This video resolve all questions. Please just include the same info. in the instructions. This will improve your product rating for sure.

I started to wire this switch in, I killed the power on the breaker as I will finish the project later. The display is still on, without power to the switch. Does it have an internal battery when the power is out? How long will the switch remain on without power? Nothing is currently connected to the switch, only wired from the breaker box to the switch, again the breaker is turned off at the moment.

    • @Bnlink_Inc
      @Bnlink_Inc  2 года назад +1

Hello Scott, yes this product has an internal battery that needs to be charged for 30-45 minutes. Once you fully charged it, you can press R to reset it, and the display will appear. One full battery charge can last for 2-3 months.

It appears that you can't program the on and off time for all days simultaneously and have to make 14 entries to set the whole week. Is that correct or am I missing something?

Wiring Instructions that came with device were good. But the Programming Instructions SUCK.
This video provided so/so Instructions... but still lacking clarity for 7 day same time ON same time OFF. But these comments got me through.
If u r gonna sell a product, test your so-called Instructions with a few people on the street before you confuse EVERYONE!

Personally I like the timer very well as it is very versatile. The instructions here and on paper are poorly done. It needs neutral to have power to charge the battery and operate the timer. Obviously you don't understand it is an electronic device.
