The literature that came with the BN-LINK model CP-U49A has the dip switches set for 240 volts as 2/3 on. The BN-LINK video has the dip switches set at 1/4 on, so which is correct?

This is not correct for 120 volts. You have the Hot wire in the wrong position.

I must be missing a step. I purchased 2 of these but I don’t seem to be able to keep the Dusk to Dawn light on and scroll down to the 6 hour selection. When it was just the first one that I couldn’t get to work, I thought huh? Maybe I got a bad one. But when the second one doesn’t work, I got a feeling it’s me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Bought two from Menards. Have always used timers that had the moveable green/on and red/off tabs. Both had no directions! So now I know I need to pull all them up and press down numerous sections for the “on” time(s). Crazy how there are no instructions as if one has never used one of these it is not obvious……

For same week long programing don't forget to set the off days to match on days. M-S during programming. It will default to Monday only if you neglect that step.

I cant get the random setting to turn off? Why doesn't it turn off if i press the week and hour buttons at the same time?

Mental anguish going back and trying to figure out reprogramming or just a simple manual override. Lots of buttons but not at all intuitive. Note to anyone using this: make notes to yourself on how you did anything because it's like starting back to zero to do anything.

I cant get this thing to shut off. I got it for gecks lights an its set right from what all the comments say but it stipl wont shut off at the right time.

You need to hold down the manual button for about 5 seconds and it will switch to auto if it is in the manual mode.

I only have three wires in my wall. Black, white, red. I connected black to black, white to white, red to red. The light in the circuit is always lit in manual or auto and I cannot switch it off, what did I do wrong? I did not connect green or blue but those should not matter in this case because I do not have anything to connect them to.

Won't work unless you have it set to Auto ON, but my device doesn't let me set it to Auto On. I tried resetting and redoing everything. Pressing MANUAL button is supposed to cycle to Auoto On and Auto Off also, but it doesn't.

Its a Great timer. easy to setup and wire into existing switch.

These plugs are garbage! I wasted money getting these, been trying to connect them for half the day! It keeps saying failed check this that etc.. The light isn't blue but red and orange. I never had trouble with smart plugs before but this is insane!
