@@Aurora-pi6jr It saves more to be thrifty in this way. You are not only saving the landfill from filling up so fast, but you are also saving money that you would normally have spent on items that you would buy by finding them for free on the side of the road. Now you are saving resources by reusing items that would have had to be made if you bought those items new. You could probably go on and on with this thrifty comment, but you get the idea that I am going with. I am all about this!!
The little, fold-up Coleman grill is great for camping. You can buy a cover for it too. We had one with an orange top. It works with the small cannisters of propane.
I hope no one said that to you, Paul! 😡 Or maybe you enjoy it so much it doesn’t feel like a job. I myself am grateful for what you do to make this planet better for all of us! Really, if each of us did our part to contribute we’d be in a better place. So, I thank you for lifting the heavy stuff for us. Today was a great scrap day! You sure deserved a nice bike ride after all that work. Looked real to me. God Bless You, Paul!
Awesome video Paul, I really enjoyed the ride along. You have an amazing town. You should start a tour of your town on a video once a month. Talk about the heritage and the history. Take care and stay safe my friend. I will see you on the next video.
Paul, I deliver newspapers and make a pretty good living at it. Most of my family doesn't think delivering papers is a "real job". When they help me due to my health, I ask them if I can pay them in play money since delivering papers isn't a real job.
Hi paul we had snow and rain here today it is dry here need the moisture going to make a beef and mushroom and onion toasted sandwish going to start making my scrapbook couldnt find vintage magazines with pictues of perfume bottles
When loading dishwashers you could just tip them over on their sides, now they won't catch on the ground with the legs, and push them to your lift. Since they are now on their side you can put it in the truck while it is on its backside and use it to put small things into like you would a box. This will save you room in the truck for more things as you are consolidating as you scrap and the small things won't get in your way if you have to reorganize too! Thanks for all the great videos you publish. I really enjoy them. You're awesome!
Super scrap haul Paul, very good. It's been a while since you've done a e-bike ride through your Town, looks like a quaint little Town too. Nicely done
Yes, such an amazing video Paul. The tour around Dekalb was great, been through there a few times but your tour was better. That scrap score was very nice to see, its good to know people who will call you to make sure you get the scrap. Enjoy your evening and thanks for being you 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Scapping is a real job!!! Being self employed is great. My dad always says "as long as it is honest and pays the bills" ,doesnt matter your occupation as long as you are happy doing it.GOD BLESS YOU PAUL!!!!
I always enjoy your bike rides and it looks like your town is growing by leaps and bounds. I laughed out loud at the snorkel - dumpster diving comment🤣.
Our 1st apartment (back in 1976) was 4 rooms, furnished, we paid $120 a month and our own electricity. The most expensive light bill we had was the month of December (tree & lights around windows) was only about $6.00.
I'm always so delighted when I see a bike going to that couple. When you picked up that furnace etc. with the pile was what looked like an old rusted industrial mixer ;could you not take that as well for scrap .Also something that was black metal .I thought maybe the caller told you only the furnace pieces . That was a great load . Loved the Town tour . Yes the past 2 years my Landlord has been raising my rent by a lot .Before it would be 10 or 20$ Last year it was 50$ and this year 69$ Pretty soon ,being on a pension I will be priced out of my place. You were right about Martin Luther he did not want a church named after him. Well Paul may your week be Blessed and you also. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
It's been a long time since I have seen a downtown like what you have there. I miss small businesses. Just too early to discover that you are parked on tire poppers. Good scrap day with more to come. Take care.
Good job. Or great love watching your videos on RUclips regrade from 🇵🇱 in European. Scrap yard. Must. Separate rubber plastic at home Last. Job pay 120 PLN in polish. Junk yard sale coper aluminum and steel and electric motor

Holding a hockey stick if you're left hand is nearing the ground you shoot left handed. If your right hand is nearing the ground you'd be a right handed shot.
Hi Paul , It would take a lot of strain off your body if you would use your dolly to move large appliances from the curb to your lift gate . Just a suggestion. You take care of yourself and God bless.
And only the astute will understand why. Think about it. Why am I not getting flat tires? Someone will get this, someone that is paying attention will figure it out
It beats the government robbing you with unnecessary taxes.
Au contraire Mon Frere. Taxes are literally my biggest bill 😭
Yup you are self employed and get to pay matching social security...and single filer...no bueno
Paul still pays taxes on his scrap
God bless you and your family. I understand how you see this not being a job. Sharing your faith with the joy you're experiencing is why.
I've been watching a lot of your old videos and struggling right along with you! So glad you got your lift gate!
Thanks for hanging out with me, with the old videos
Some may think it's not a real job,but it is alot of physical work, that puts a lot of pain in my back, and it saves our landfills.
Agreed, if more people did this stuff the world would be a lot more clean. It pays not just in cash to be thrifty

I do it to keep me active. I have had 5 back operation. I do not pick up heavy stuff up. Just lite stuff.

Enjoyed the tour
Nice ride on your bike…lovely day. Love all the brickwork. Thanks for the tour.
It took me a minute to understand what you were saying about the snorkel. Yes, use it for dumpster diving😅😅
My father use to say if you don't ask the questions you want get the answers

Yesterday someone said in the comment section of the video that I should get a real job
Wow, the encouragement runs amuck
@@ScrapPalletMan Wow!
I'd like to see that "A hole" do your job.
Well, now isn't that special. The Church Lady sarcasm comes to mind. Wow. Keep up the hard work.
Oh my ,I bet whoever said you should get a real job doesn't work as hard as you do. I get tired just watching you!
It's like a jigsaw puzzle making all the pieces fit. You are good at that!
Thanks for the guided tour of neighbourhood on ebike, happy scrapping and good luck.
Thanks for riding along with me

Hey hey Tim! :-)
@@ScrapPalletMan hi buddy more nice weather... Just got news my Aunt passed away, shes in Oklahoma
That was a good payout Me Paul. You did good. Thanks for sharing. 🥰
So glad you had a great scrap pickup. Take care and prayers.❤

My parents paid $18,250 for their house in Las Vegas In 1968. The exact same house sold last month for $335,000. Same house.

Yeah these rent prices are hurting people. Saddens me. I'm unsure if they wanted that mixer removed.
Amen! blessings!
I ENJOYED THE TOUR THROUGH TOWN , WITH YOU ON YOUR BIKE , THANK YOU FOR A NICE DAY .
Rotating the scrap metal in your truck and running it off to the scrap yard for the money 💰💰 that you need to survive Paul 🙏💯💯🙏
That’s why I carry around a grinder with a cutting blade on it. I know it’s a little noisy but not for long
I take all dishwashers. I find turning them upside down pointing the door away from you and using the base as Handles. Much easier
You left the mixer
that bike you found was a Gary Fisher Tiburon. It's a hybrid bike which is part mountain bike and part road bike. It's a nice bike.
awesome to see you again 😀🖖
Blessings paul prayers that the bad storms pass you all by
Great video Paul. Thanks for the tour. Have a great Wed. Thank you for sharing your video 😀🙏🏻🇨🇦
Paul if you had put the furnace on last, you wouldn't have to move it so far into the truck?

Hello 👋 Paul ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Alright Paul ✌️🚲
'See a pin and pick it up, then all day you'll have good luck!' - Olde English proverb.....
Hi Paul 🙋🏽. Good Evening to you.
Those local hardware stores are great and always finding items. There is one in Bloomington Indiana that I try to get into about every three months.
Scrap Tetris day in the Red Truck!
Thanks for sharing another excellent video Paul God Bless My Friend.
Would love to scrap, especially finding stuff you can sell on 😊
Paul if you played hockey would you be a right or left handed shot ?
I've never played hockey
Holding a hockey stick if you're left hand is nearing the ground you shoot left handed. If your right hand is nearing the ground you'd be a right handed shot.
Paul, you owe your friend a good steak dinner for leaving the scrap
Did you find out if you need to get insurance cover for e bike
I didn't know I was looking to get insurance on the e-bike 🤔
Hi Paul , It would take a lot of strain off your body if you would use your dolly to move large appliances from the curb to your lift gate . Just a suggestion. You take care of yourself and God bless.
How many flats have you received in the yard?
Zero in the last 4 years
And only the astute will understand why. Think about it. Why am I not getting flat tires? Someone will get this, someone that is paying attention will figure it out
I know you pick up nails and screws on the streets but it a recycle place

Hey new video have a blessed one
Right on Brenda! :-)
paul! that must have been an expensive hvac job. ductwork is not cheap
Leave yourself a couple pieces of short PVC drop the cabinet on it and roll it right in
Hello paul watching you while under tornado warning here in Oklahoma. Hope you have better weather
I'm so sad to hear about all the crazy tornadoes. You doing okay?
Yeah we're doing good. Still have tornados flittin around but I think it's almost over.
Hey brother good to se you 😅
It puts $$ in your pocket and keeps som😊e out of landfills
That pickup was alot of heavy work!
All right let's bench press a furnace.
Oouuuch
Saludos desde Argentina Salta Cap.
Hello Argentina
That dishwasher has more plastic than you think with thin aluminum skin on it
Morning wishing you a great day 💕
Great bike ride around town.😊
Wooden moving dollies are good for moving large pieces of heavier metals like furnaces
I've got two of them in my shop. If I put them in the truck, I'll never use them. They'll be in the way constantly
Anyone who says scrapping isn’t a real job should just follow you around one day…I guarantee you work 10 times the physical work as anyone man,!
If they want you to scrap that big mixer, it should have wheels that will roll.
