I am a widow since I was 40 I'm now 58 and when my husband was alive scrapping was one of our many side hustles but way back in the 80's tin as we called it was only $20 a ton and we hauled a lot of appliances from stores and roadsides but we had city wide clean ups here you couldn't just through anything out but to us at that time with 4 kids $20 a ton a few times a day made us happy and bought essentials.we never did resales way back then.geez if we were doing it now what a big price increase! I was the hoarder always wanting to keep nice things he would say no we are here for the scrap only lol those were the days 😊 we also use to grab all the aluminum off the inside of the refrigerator doors but I don't notice you do that so they must have all went to plastic now.Good luck! I just watch your videos and visually ride along.I miss those days of finding things and just riding around having conversations and spending time together even if it was just what we called Gravel Traveling lol going up and down gravel roads asking farmers if they wanted to get rid of their old scrap laying around.(Sorry about the long rant) 😊
Conversations and gravel travel sounds amazing. Seriously. I'm a conversationalist by nature, and I love a good conversation. I'm glad you had wonderful times with your husband. I am sad to hear of his passing

Was 74 yesterday and now it’s cold and windy today. What a blessed scrap day you had! Isn’t it just like you to bless your competition? There’s enough to go around for everyone. You’re a beautiful human being. Enjoy your weekend!
Yesssss. Good afternoon, Paul . Great to see you today, I see my prayers are still working for you. Glad you are getting bigger scrap loads and better pay. Thanks for taking us along for the ride !!!! 😊😊😊😊😊
Hey Paul. Antoinette from Jersey. I grunted quite a bit yesterday. I was cutting down small trees with the chain saw and my back was killing me. Not to mention I am closer to 70 than I’d like to be. But I get it done. Just moan and grunt my way through. You inspire me to keep going!!
Evening Paul. I hope you are well. Watching your rearranging of your scrap collection is like scrap chess. Moving one piece to accommodate your next move. Hope the shoulder is fully recovered and that you are stretching every day to maintain it. Kind regards. Stephen from the UK
Thanks you for the ride along. You are amazing asking for blessing on your competition and always being grateful for the scrap items you find. What a great example of how all should be to everyone. You forgot to use your hand truck on a few of the appliances today. I hope you kept a few of the refrigerator magnets😃
Good afternoon Paul another awesome video and nice payday. You know my husband grunts also he’s a few years older than us. It’s a cool day here in Pennsylvania. Hope everyone is doing well even the cute little fur babies. Have a great weekend 😊
Paul it was fun today, but you didn't hear me yelling ro cut the stove cord LOL also a thing to mention, you pick up alot of waterheater, ours quit heating last week. It is only 7 years old. I called the company that put it in, the guy came out tried to light it and told me it needed replaced. He said they don't make things to last. It is an AO Smith. I had my nephew come check it out. He called a plumbing company in town. THERE IS A RESET BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM. He pushed it and then relite it. Swept it out and working fine again. Saved me alot of money. Truly paid to get another one to chieck it out. Sorry for the long post, hope it helps someone too.
Wow! Another great scrap day . Still praying that your shoulder does not act up. Those bikes looked nice . Hopefully that couple will be able to do something with them. God has blessed them with a great talent. I Love that you prayed for that other scrapper. I always felt what comes around goes around and look another full truck. Have an awesome weekend . Blessings ,Paul. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
Thanks for a great video. Those were pretty decent bikes.i had to laugh when you said why do i always grunt, because i do that too.😂have a great weekend 😃🇨🇦
Paul you really have to start filling appliances with some of the smaller scraps, Those fittings off the Cooker could have gone in the Washer, and those bracket's you took off the Fridge door are usually Aluminium.
We keep a small ICB cage in the truck. We put all wire, batteries, small scrap small tubular pipe , copper, brass, it confined and separated, it to a small space. A small bucket in the cage for nuts, bolts clamps the extra . Works for us in an extended bed. No more sliding problems due to loose items, nuts bolts ect.

Then life got busy and well I just stopped. I found you again a few days ago I can't believe how much I missed you. Especially your worship at the talegate.I feel closer to God afterwards. I am always amazed on how many grills you pick up. Here in NY, we still have our Weber grill we bought in 1999. It is always outside on the deck and always covered. We use it year round too.
That's a cool purple bike Looks like it's in pretty good shape . Thanks for posting another fun video on a Friday Now I can have a happy weekend and you Have A Great DayPaul 🇨🇦🦩
Hey Paul, tge weather has been all over the place lately. It was 82 here yesterday and now today it is like 65, rainy and cold with high winds..looks like you got some good stuff. Thanks paul..😊😊😊
Former siding contractor here. At times….scrap kept my head above water and then some. I’m old and remember well having to work very hard for a living. Therefore I go out of my way to separate and sort any scrap I may have to put along side the road for scrappers.
I pick up grills but unless they’re heavy or small . we break them down on the spot . The shelves are the problem and the height of the lid. It’s why me and my partner keep an axe, small sledge hammer and a heavy large hammer. A wrench set and socket set. Takes us minutes to break it down. Stack and pack and we go vertical. Having a partner we work twice as fast and can scrap and cover more territory with larger compact loads.
Paul, The greats on the stove are cast iron. Most of the greats on the gas grills are also cast iron. You should be putting them aside. You should be able to cash them with your router's.

Good morning, Paul. You seem to be rushing things a little bit as you're missing, cutting the cords. Coppers worth a lot more than steel.
