Okay, so super sad theory for this little concept/AU. Manga spoilers! Okay..So. We know about Nene's short lifespan, yes? What if.. Hanako, or even all of them find out that the reason the Nene dies is somehow because of Hanako? ..And what if, since he doesn't want her to die, he gets one of the First of the Seven Mysteries to turn back time, all the way back to when (or even before) she summoned him, so she can't remember anything, and they never meet. But then, Nene still has these vague recollections and memories of Hanako, leading to this animatic. It's.. Really sad.
I'm not sure too, y'know. Like, what if it's true (hanako's the reason she dies) I dunno y but I've been thinking that kou will exorcise him one day cuz he's getting better at using his staff and that's what teru wants. But, kou and yashiro don't want to cuz hanako has been a great friend and always saved them (especially yashiro) Before that, hanako read yashiro book in the future part and it said the reason she died was from hanako himself and he don't wants it to be happen. Then, tsukasa come to kill yashiro that actually the one that kill yashiro was possessed hanako by tsukasa but hanako didn't read that part cuz he's rushing to save her. And SOMEHOW i THINK that both of them will fight and hanako wins but he's getting tired and let kou exorcise him. Finally the academy turned into normal and all supernaturals were not allowed to go back to the academy. All school wonders back to their boundaries. And kou and yashiro were together. I dunno y th i said that last one I made my own ending And it's bad😥😥😥 I hate it every time I remember it (I'm bad at English... sowwyy :`)

ok, here’s my theory and don’t read this if you haven’t read the manga. Ok, so we know how nene is traveling through time and stuff right? so I am asking how does hanako know that she’s going to die? Hanukkah remembers her from the past and fell in love with her at the festival. so the reason why I think he knows that she is going to die it’s because back when tsukasa was hurting him I Think that she saw him hurting Hanako so she would defend him. as a result of this tsukasa would hurt/kill nene which leads to hanako stabbing/killing tsukasa. remember how he said he for gave the person who is hurting him? I believe after this he realized what he had done in so he killed himself which led to him being a ghost. another thing that supports this is that whenever she was traveling she always called him hanako not amane. he remember that when he died so that led to him calling himself hanako-san. ( sorry for awful grammar )
I would support this theory but then again hanako already had his name wayyyyy before she was even born taking into account that he is older than her by a few decades and on top of that hanako said in the manga that was because he already knows about the people who will summon him since only people near death can really summon him no hate just to let you know ^•^

I read chapter 71 some time ago and HOLY SHIT if this manga end up with a bittersweet ending with nene growing up and losing her memories in the process I'm gonna RIOT Buuut listen here: what if she grew up and became a teacher and got back to the school just like how hanako's destiny was supposed to be? Hanako tells Yashiro that because he swallowed the scale with Yashiro, Yashiro and him would be linked together in bonds -even after death- ‘Kay ya listenin’? Good. Anyways, it is considered a romantic scene in the anime and manga so you can read or watch it yourself- on ep 1 So if that’s the case then listen to this- the pilot for the series would have already been different. Wanna know why? Because him and Yashiro would have already made a bond that pretty much can’t separate them after death. With that said, this might help you a little in how the series is gonna play out. Love the weebs out there, so just watchin out for you guys :3
binney it is about a girl named Yashiro who lives in a school that has ghosts called “the seven wonders of the school.” These ghosts pretty much watch over the school for the most part and things such as that. Hanako kun is one of the seven wonders and Yashiro summons him by knocking on the stall in the girls bathroom. It later goes on to where she swallows a fish scale and becomes a fish thinking that is how she will get a boy (not the brightest lightbulb I know) but the only way she can be part human is if she shares the curse with somebody else (Hanako kun) so they both share the curse and become linked. In exchange for doing this, Yashiro has to help Hanako kun with his duties in keeping the school safe. It’s a really good show and I totally recommend watching it. It’s called toilet bound Hanako kun.
You know I want the show to end a happy thing like Nene dies and is reconnected with Hanako or she actually lives and Hanako never loses his spirit energy but honestly reading the manga I'm pretty sure it's not going to end like that in the anime other then that great animatic your so good and this song fits so perfectly amazing work!

At first I didn't know this was about the ED, since I hadn't read the description yet, but you made the story easy to understand and then it hit me at the end. Then I only noticed the mostly red/white colour scheme. This is really awesome!

The lyrics say "and we'll never meet again," which would make sense, since people who aren't close to death can't see yurei/youkai if they aren't spiritually powerful D':
