The original lyrics have SO much info about the story and while a part got lost in translation I’m still so amazed that y’all kept some of the most important bits in, that must’ve been tough holy hell. I’m sure this was a beast of a song to translate but y’all did an amazing work, loved the editing.
I really like the chorus; especially the part when they sing "Your words are a deadly blade, cut away the world before you", because of the contrast between both AmaLee's high pitched tone and Natewantstobattle low tone. Awesome work!

Until I started seeing the tweets regarding this song, I'd never heard of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun (to my knowledge, anyways). This song is definitely making me wanna check the anime out now! The AmaLee Effect is in full force once again!!! 😄🤘⭐
Definitely suggest checking it out! It's pretty good in my opinion, and I love the art style as well! The manga's still ongoing as well, and there's only one season as of now, so it's still easy to catch up.

It's really good. Pretty funny at the start but the story has some dark elements that really compliment the unique art style I very much enjoyed it 10/10 would recommend.
The anime is Pretty decent there are some flaws to it, but overall the storyline is so so good and it is filled with many plotwist, If you're done watching the anime I suggest you to read the manga from the VERY beginning!!!
Cannot recommend the show enough. It is one of the few shows that I have urged all my friends to watch, it is so good looking, and cute and funny, with a very dark undertone and an interesting mystery.

How I think the lyrics link to the manga- MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD FOR CHAPTER 71-82
(Editing comment in progress)
"The future and past oh the joy and sorrow"
-I think this references past/child tsukasa at the red house and future/teen tsukasa and how it makes hanako feel about his murder.
"And at least break the mask of the lies revealing the truth"
- this most likely references Yashiro finding out that hanako murdered his brother tsukasa.
"Look out your all alone now"
- This is towards tsukasa being stuck in the red house when he was a child
"To stop another's fall you'll sacrifice it all"
-This is obviously referencing to the severance of when Hanako sacrificed himself for Yashiro
"All these rumors breaking down my body"
- this can apply to Yashiro and mitsuba but I think it's mainly toward mitsuba.
- the rumors that sakura send about mitsuba ruin mitsuba's image and body, and his deal with tsukasa keeps on tearing him down.
- Yashiro solving the rumors about the mysteries and having her relationship (tie) with hanako, made her life span shorter.
Suggestion by SallyTheKawaii : "A moment is there, and moment is gone"
-SallyTheKawaii thinks this can be referencing to the clock keepers ark, more paticarly towards Mirai because she moves super fast.
-Though I would personally think it symbolises something else (though I'm not sure yet) this isn't a bad theory

- Mitsuba came back as an artificial ghost, a new being with no memeory, and the 3rd msytery died and mitsuba took over.

-I think this references to hanako being reluctant to go to the hell of mirror because he didn't want to see his greatest fear and that he does want to accept that Yashiro's future is death.

-this is obviously referencing to how mitsuba came back from his death from tsukasa, then died by hanako, and then came back as an artificial ghost.

- this is refencing to amane changing the future once so hanako thought he could do it again so he killed Aoi, so Yashiro will live. Aka chapter 71 😂

(Manga Spoilers) THEORY: After listening to the cover, I think this song might be sang by the POV of Yashiro and how Hanako said that she would eventually forget about him once he disappeared, the song's lyrics contains a lot of contemplating and confusion, for example "wait, there was never an 8th?", "That I heard from somewhere" and "It knows the fragile truth of my generosity, probably" This may show that she's beginning to forget about Hanako and what happened prior, and she's talking to herself or someone else about it. (again, this a theory, do not take this seriously, I just wanted to tell you guys what I thought, also, this is a great cover, great job on it!)

Another theory: Hanako's family wanted to commit suicide but Tsukasa didn't know. In a manga panel, it says family suicide on a newspaper when revealing Tsukasa's backstory. Their mom quotes, "He is not my child." Hanako did the big move and killed his brother with himself. Perhaps Tsukasa's interference with the thing under their house changed the future. Tsuchimori sensei had said Hanako wasn't supposed to die.

After I watched Sam luff's English version, I was amazed. So I thought "I wonder if Amalee or Natewantstobattle would do a version of No. 7." I waited, then I found out you and Nate did a collab.
Sam Luff, Natewantstobattle, and Amalee are people I normally listen to, No. 7 is one of my favourite openings, and I love English versions!
