In this video I am discussing Ecclesiastes 3:1 and how it directs us to a purposeful life in each season of our life.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
'For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. '
All of Ecclesiastes 3 compares and contrasts. There are seven pairs of opposing things. This is the start. It’s the opener. We all have our seasons. And in each season we have a purpose that God has given to us. God gives us proper timing in everything.
Our sense of purpose keeps us moving in the season we are in and transitioning into the next season. Our sense of purpose draws us closer to God.
Purpose drives us, it motivates us.
Purpose gives us clarity and makes sure that our priorities stay our priorities.
Purpose moves us into the light of our greatest potential.
Purpose will keep you living in the present (in the past you get depressed, in the future you get anxiety and fear) - Purpose keeps you in the here and now.
Purpose keeps you honest in life’s progress.
